Big Brother bodybuilder Mario Marconi berated partner Lisa Appleton for working too hard in the kitchen, branding her "Mrs Scrubber".

The 43-year-old from Warrington told his girlfriend of three years: "People aren't going to wash up or clean up because they think you are mug enough to do it."

"It grieves me to see you, my partner, come in here slaving over a kitchen," he added. "What have you learnt Lisa? Come in here to be Mrs Scrubber."

Mario, whose real name is Sean, told Lisa: "You need to chat more, you've gone very quiet if you ask me. You're trying to please everyone. You need to assert yourself."

Sales rep Lisa, who has likened herself to Xena Warrior Princess, quietly sipped a mug of tea for much of her boyfriend's tirade before responding: "That's how I am though."

The argument marks the first major row between the gym-loving pair, who are the first non-celebrity couple to appear on the show.

Meanwhile Mohamed paid a visit to the Diary Room to tell Big Brother: "Thanks for the chicks".

The Hamleys toy demonstrator was expressing his gratitude for Sara, Maysoon and Belinda, the three new females who entered the house on Friday.

"I think that changed the dynamic of the group, and it brought everyone together and made everyone liven up," he said.
