EMMA Greenwood's mum yesterday branded Victor a "big plonker" and demanded her daughter be sent home after the housemates' violent brawl.
Karen Greenwood, 42, watched the terrifying fight live before Channel 4 cut from the house and sent in security guards for the first time. She said: "By threatening a girl Victor has shown what a little man he is. "He's just a bully. He asked her, 'Do you know who I am?' What's that supposed to mean? He's just a big plonker. "I thought the fight was terrifying when it kicked off. "But when the pictures stopped I wasn't too worried because I know Emma can stick up for herself. "But I've now seen the fight on the internet and I think she should come home." The brawling and death threats involved several housemates. BB bosses called Karen yesterday to say they are discussing what steps to take. Karen, of Oldham, Greater Manchester, added: "Big Brother phoned me to say Emma was safe in the bedsit. They said Vanessa's mum had called them at 2am to demand her daughter leave the house. At first I thought they should let the public decide whether Emma or Victor should be kicked out. But the more I think about it the more I want her out." Emma's grandad Terry Whelan, 68, of Failsworth, Manchester, added: "Emma's been used from the start in this silly programme. "The most upsetting thing she had to go through was when Victor called her a racist. "That really got to her because it is the last thing Emma is." He added: "The producers only care about ratings and they don't give a damn who they hurt. She's clearly not happy and she should come home." Meanwhile, a woman who clashed with Victor at their hall of residence when they were students at Brunel University has urged Emma to back down. Harpinder Sidhu, 27, said yesterday: "He's showing his true colours and I know how Emma's feeling. He's a scary guy and my advice to her is to back down. "He was sleazy with my friends and I. Once he blocked my door. I was just polite back." Daily Mirror -> http://www.mirror.co.uk/bigbrother/t...name_page.html |
