The housemates had a nasty surprise as Vanessa's eviction was greeted with booing from the crowd.

Vanessa had put a brave face on the situation, fixing her make-up and trying to banter with her housemates prior to her departure. She lavished hugs and kisses on her friends and high-fived each housemate as she approached the door.

But as the doors to the House opened the housemates were horrified to hear the crowd outside booing.

Once the doors closed behind the evicted housemate, her fellow inmates let rip.

"S***!" yelled Victor as the housemates reacted in horror to Vanessa's reception.

Shell burst into tears. "It's horrible, how can people do that?" she sobbed.

Dan attempted to calm the housemates by insisting that the crowd always booed the evictees. But Shell was not to be consoled as she declared them "*******ers!" and pounded the living room wall in anger. "That's awful!" she spat.

"Why would you turn up to do that to someone?" asked Victor incredulously.

Some took the scenario in horrified silence, with Stuart, Michelle and Ahmed looking quietly stunned.

Jason sank on to the sofa and blamed himself. He told Dan Vanessa had had a bad reception because of her relationship with him in the House. Daniel reassured him this was not the case.

Office of the Cyber Devil's Advocate General deplores reception given to Vanessa

The Office of the Cyber Devil's Advocate General deplores the booing of evictee Vanessa. It was un-necassary and needless. Although this office earlier decided to reccomend her eviction, this was so Daniel could stay as a stablising element in the house. We have no malice towards Vanessa and unreservedly condemns the hostile reception she received.

Yeah. when you look at the behavour of other housemates Vanessa has done little but played a rather confusing game with herself and Jason. Trying to be bit of a rattle snake but unable to produce real venom.

Why did they boo her. Who knows!! Some people just like to hate for hates sake. Nadia fans may have felt angry towards her..

In past BB's I have never ever supported the idea that anyone should get booed when they exit.

I now break that belief when it comes to Victor. To do justice to Emma the one cheated by BB. I hope they boo him out of town and country along with the BB producers that decided to remove her.....

Speaking of Emma I wonder why she was not on BBLB on Friday???? Dermot usually gives them a little present and fairwell on their last day with him. Curious..

On Thursday when Emma was on BBLB, Kitten was supposed to show up - but she didn't.

Then Kitten was there on Friday but with no Emma - strange.

I would love Emma to come back, that alone would pull BB back and make the whole thing watchable and exciting again. I think we all agree the way she was used was terrible and she deserves another chance like the rest got.

There is one thing though that keeps bugging me from the official BB site. If you look at all the HM'S picks at the top, then it says below Kitten and Vanessa's names EVICTED and below Emma's it says GONE.

Technically she has been evicted by BB, the same as Kitten so why not state it as the same. Gone could mean she might come back. Personally I don't think that will happen, but it is just a thought & would be brilliant if it did.

Unfortunately, I think most of the housemates are going to be booed this year when they were evicted. I mean most of the BB4 housemates were! It increases each year.

I think if you say 'I don't believe housemates should be booed, but...' it's going to lead to many of them being booed because there will always be enough people in the crowd who think that that particular HM should be the exception.

Also I thought they were going to do the interviews on the big stage instead of the studio. Maybe they changed it because they knew Vanessa would be booed.

I'm really glad that Davina interviewed Vanessa in the studio, because the way that she did it was quite harsh on Vanessa and if they had been outside, the crowd would have gone wild.

I don't think Vanessa showed a lot of "warmth" in her interview, but that's not her character. She is, however, intelligent, articulate and witty when the best is brought out in her, but Davina didn't get anywhere near it!

I think Davina prefers to interview the "dippy" girls rather than the stronger girls because she can connect with them more, and, if truth be told, patronise them slightly.

Last year, nice people but boring sometimes, this year nasty people but boring all the time. They were just so dam civilised last year. This for me has to be the worst bb of all time, I can't stand any of em. It's hard to make a post because I couldn't care less about any of them.
