Kathreya's not even trying to conceal the fact that she's in it to win it, but because she doesn't speak English very well and constantly talks about cookies, everyone thinks she's so nice and sweet. I used to think this as well, but not anymore. When Kathreya found out that Rebecca was evicted, she didn't even bother to act sympathetic. She got right up and started jumping for joy. Why? Because she thinks that this means she must be popular, since she's close to Mohamed and Darnell. In her audition, she admitted that she'd do anything to win BB, including lie or cheat. Luckily for her, the editors decided not to show this on her VT. If they had, things would have been very different for Kathreya. Oh, and she said she least wanted Luke/Rebecca to win, which was just rude. I would have expected Kathreya to not pick anyone.

I SO agree - my opinion of her changed when she showed lack of sympathy for the Hell Housemates that first week of the divide, and then when she acted like that about Bex's name being read out it just compounded it - not the sweet little Cookie Monster after all!!

And, in the words of some psychologist on BBLB "unless she has severe sociopathic tendancies, then she can't be acting 24/7". I still think she's a star girl and just genuinely nice. Also, I bet she was just cheering because her friends stayed and that she couldn't give a **** about Rebecca.

Oh well though. She is going to win, and there's nothing you can do about it really. The odds have been so constant and highly in her favour since the start.

That's a bit cynical. Could she not have been jumping for joy because her friends were kept in? Why is it so hard to accept that she might actually be a nice person? As for the last bit of your post, she was expressing an opinion, and there is nothing wrong with that. A bit like how Rebecca said a couple of weeks ago that she didn't want Kat to win. Luke and Rebecca must have been really annoying to live with, particularly together, so if I'm honest I'm surprised Kat still managed to put up with them, and even tried to play matchmaker in order to alter the atmosphere a little bit.

I won't defend Kat completely, in the sense that she has gone down in my estimations in the last few weeks. She started on a high which unfortunately didn't last - but she's still one of my favourites. All it means now is that we don't have a predictable winner, which to me is good.

shes a gimmick if you act like that constantly who could put up with working with her for a few motnhs? id go crazy shhes waaay over emotional. between the massive high to a huge low and back to overly happy again within 2 minutes

shes not acting but i think she is overdoing her emotions.

People keep saying stuff like this, but I rarely see the connection. Just coz someone I like had a run-in with someone else, doesn't mean I automatically hate that other person. Praps we just dislike Kat because she's changed a lot??

What? Am really reading this? Bex didn't look sympathetic to me when mario got evicted. KAthreya was happy that her friends were staying, wouldn't you be? If Bex had stayed I'm sure Dale/Stu/Luke would've done the same thing.

agreed, i dislike kat so much from how she has changed and from how irritating she is it was bearable for 2 weeks butnot 7 ish.

She doesn't need to act 24/7!

1) I'm NOT saying she's acting. She's not making any attempt to cover up the fact that she's in it to win it. It's just that no one notices because of her poor English and constant talking about cookies.

2) Someone could act on BB. He wouldn't have to do it 24/7. If the editors were working in his favor, he could just act an hour or less a day and still get away with it. This is irrelevant however, as I was not saying that Kathreya is acting. The very beginning of my paragraph shows that I do not think she is acting.
