Like 2 and a half years ago I had a graphics website and was like obsessed with it, and then by around november last year I just... stopped.
I looked at my traffic, which used to be around 5k unique visitors a month, which is pretty small, but oh well. But because I hadn't used it in so long It went down to 400... o_0 Last month I put on a temporary layout [which is still on there... the CSS is actually appalling atm, but it's www.17-days.com if you're interested] and I started to get to work to get the pages back in order, and even wrote a blog. But now I'm like.. why? Graphics websites don't really get any money and tbh, I don't think I'm good enough to carry on. Well, obviously I can use photoshop and stuff better than the average person when it comes to editing my own pictures, but I'd like maybe to change my website - I'm okay at coding and stuff, but I'm really stumped for ideas. Shall I resurrect my website to what it was before, and hope to improve, or give up completely and start afresh? Here Is an example of my work last year [I can't get onto FTP on my mac atm so I just had to spend ages guessing the urls of old stuff :P]. I put it in another thread as I didn't want to clog up this thread, which is already full of my rambles. I was thinking of putting loads of new BB banners and stuff on the page but hmm. Opinions? I really should sleep... I have to get up in 6 hours ![]() x |
