LOL. if only honey was that easy to get !!

This reminds me of a time years ago when there was a wasp on the window and the teacher tried to squash it, but put the book straight through the window!!

I was always taught that it was ok to kill wasps but not bees, but didn't really see the logic in that~ well not in terms of the life anyway.

I try not to, but then when I do I don't feel really guilty because it's so easy to step on an ant or something similar.
When it comes to insects I'm not particularly fond of though, I tend to want to take them outside rather than kill them - or, in the case of big spiders - (even though they're not insects), I get my mum to do it as she isn't afraid of spiders of any size in the slightest. But I usually end up killing them.

I don't really see the point in most of them. Sure, there's all the food chain business involved but they get in the way too much...

well i hate moths with a passion
and i diddnt used to mind spiders but one night i was sat watching bb8 with my back turned away from my bed and when i turned round there was the biggest spider i have ever seen in my ENTIRE! life in the fold in my pj top on my bed!I will never get over it EVER!I diddnt dare go to bed even though my dad killed it.
Oh and just last friday i was on the laptop and i turned round and an equally as huge one ran right past me and under my bed!So now I hate all spiders with a passion and they should all just die and leave me alone!

Not bees no one should kill bees if it was a wasp it would be a whole different situation bees are useful things that make honey and are fat fluffy things that only stink once when scared wasps are pointless skinny scaly things which stings you as many times as they like.

I hate bees and wasps. The sight of them repulses me and they creep me out. I'm certainly not against killing them! But I don't mind any other insects or bugs, but I don't feel strongly about them being killed neither.

I don't like them being killed, just think, how would you like it if we were the insects size, and they were our size. They'd trap us in tubs and boxes and squash us simply because they don't like us, or are afraid of us. How can you be afraid or annoyed by something so small. If there's a person you don't like, or are scared of, I'm sure no-one gets a news paper out and squashes them!

Once there was a cockroach on my kitchen floor and I got the broom and was going to squash it but I just couldn't bring myself to kill it.

You obviously won't go to prison for killing an insect and it is up to an individual whether they kill them or not.

That's a silly point [sorry to sound rude, but it is lol]. We never will be and never have been the size of an insect and thus it is impossible to imagine being an insect, as it'll never happen.

And I'd love to squash some people if I had the physical capability to do it, but ignoring them does a treat!

People are scared of insects for many different reasons - movement, appearance, inherited fear (parents hate them etc.) and I'm sure there are others.

I'm scared of daddy long legs, they are very creepy in the way they seem to float everywhere, and they love to fly around rapidly which scares me.

Your point about people we don't like is a redundant one - you can't squash a person with a newspaper. However, the equivalent would be getting into a fight with someone, you don't like them so you try to hurt them.

That's an excellent point. Contrary to what some may say. People kill insects usually because they are afraid of them in some way. Says a lot for human courage.....

Nothing should be killed for the sake of it. Insects or not. If some insect poses a danger or health hazzard then to kill is justified. To kill just because it is there and somehow makes a giant human feel superior to other life forms then that is just plain silly and I might add quite cowardly.....

That's probably what insects think about humans too and who could blame them.....

Humans are the insects of the universe. want to over run everything and destroy everything for their own selfish needs. Including themselves and their very environment they need to live in.......
