Our star columnist casts a ray of light over events in the Big Brother house, including why he can’t stand Victor, the truth behind Kitten’s rapid exit and how Michelle and Emma can make the housemates’ lives a living hell.

Will Kitten be missed in the Big Brother house?
Ray: I spoke to some people on the Big Brother production team, and they said they got her out because she was ruining the show. But I think that was a mistake - the show has got a lot quieter.

And are there any housemates ready to fill her place?
Ray: There isn’t anyone really – no one has fallen into the role. She was one of my favourites, but Big Brother had to show her who's boss by kicking her out.

Ahmed, Emma and Michelle have been nominated to leave this week – but the two evictees will actually be sent to work for Big Brother in a secret room. What do you think about that?
Ray: It’s a good idea and it’s going to be interesting to see how hard the housemates will have to work for Big Brother. If Ahmed and Michelle get kicked out then I can’t see them being too evil towards their fellow housemates. But if Michelle and Emma are selected they will put their heads together and come up with a few things to make their fellow housemates’ lives a living hell.

If you were in that position, what evil things would you do?
Ray: I would slaughter them! When I was head of the house in BB4, I wish I had made up some new rules and pretended Big Brother told me to do so. I like to break the rules so I would get them to do as I say or else they risk getting a formal warning from Big Brother.

Who do you think will be temporarily evicted to the secret room?
Ray: People are going to evict Ahmed and Michelle. Ahmed because he is very isolated from the rest of the group and hasn’t really done anything to make people want to keep him in the house. And Michelle, mainly due to the whole deal with her and Stuart – he is backing down from her and doesn’t want a relationship. He’s a favourite of a lot of people and they might help him out by getting Michelle evicted.

Who do you like the most in the house?
Ray: I would say it has got to be Emma. It was great the way she stood up to Victor, who I cannot stand. I know she comes across as fairly stupid, but I like the ditsy thing.

Which of the ladies, Nadia included, do you fancy the most?
Ray: Ha ha! It has got to be Vanessa by a mile. She’s absolutely gorgeous! She hasn’t done much in the house but I think she’s stunningly beautiful.

And who is getting on your nerves?
Ray: Victor! I hate the way he keeps playing up to the cameras – he’s one of the most arrogant people I’ve ever seen on TV. He keeps saying that he is going to get rid of all the suckers in the house, as though he’s the main man. It just absolutely does my head in.

What’s your gut feeling about the relationship between Stuart and Michelle?
Ray: It was a marriage of convenience. She’s only doing it because she knows it will help her stay in the house longer. She’s a total game player and wants to win. For Stuart, the relationship was offered on a plate, and he just went with the flow. I don’t think he’s used to women who are that forward.

How will Michelle react if she has to watch Stuart flirt with the other girls?
Ray: She gets very jealous when the rest of the girls talk to Stuart, but the poor guy just wants to be more involved with the rest of the group! It would be a bad move for Stuart to spend all his time with Michelle – he will alienate himself from the others.

From your experience, what can Big Brother do to really get under the housemates’ skin?
Ray: I liked the sprinklers coming on when they were sunbathing. It livened them up a bit. But they should also throw them a bit more drink – they’re not getting enough to make them lose their heads.

So a drunk housemates is a better housemate?
Ray: If you want to see fireworks then you have to get a bit of drink down them, especially with all the tension in the house. Things could kick off between Victor and Emma or Nadia and Jason if they just had a bit more alcohol in there.

Did you do anything to embarrass yourself when you were in Big Brother 4?
Ray: I was just myself, had a laugh and decided to deal with the consequences afterwards. But towards the last week I began thinking, ‘What have I done?’ I was swearing, drinking a lot and having the odd ‘Tommy-Tank’. Then I started thinking, ‘Oh s**t, what am I going to do?’ I thought my ma was going to slap me in the face. Marco is camping it up big time, and if it was my son then I think I would be a bit embarrassed.
