Vote for Rachel, a vote for Rachel is a vote for kindness, and as the runner up of celebrity big brother said: Kindness is a strength.

When Rachel first came out of the van I think we all knew she would have her flaws, there are things she does that irratate people, but I don't think these are things you should condemn her for - as nobody is perfect and she is human afterall.

Look past her flaws for just a moment, and you will see that she is a very loyal, caring simple welsh lass with an immense stregnth of charecter, Rachel will do the right thing regardless of the consequences, do the right thing regardless of temptation to do otherwise, do the right thing regardless of what others may think of her. Take the constant barrige of attacks Rex put upon her for weeks, take the weeks and weeks of whispering and bitching from Jen, Sylvia, Rebecca, Mario and the like, and the continuous conspiracy theories and lies that Luke made up. Trying to turn people on her, in some cases it even worked, and they joined in (Mikey) - and despite all this uncalled for flak, Rachel did not let any of it get to her.

She has shown an incredible resilience, but also had fun and been herself from day one. Regulus came up with a good analysis: Rachel has introvert and extrovert sides to her personality, which co-exist. The introvert is mature, logical, and serious, the extrovert is childlike, sentimental, and eccentric. Considering the life she has led, duality in her personality is inevitable. Rachel has a strong desire to be needed and liked, it matters immensely to her. That most likely stems from being a child actress, a job in which she was richly rewarded for pleasing. Perhaps she walked away from that, but that aspect has become an indelible part of Rachel's personality. Part of her craves normality, yet the other part craves the life she had as a child. Maybe she is confused about what she wants, just like many of us.

This duality has, for me, made her one of the most interesting housemates to follow, as she is much more than just a 2D character, but has a complex layered personality that has not been given the justice it deserves on the highlights show. Many events that have happened have been cut for reasons unknown that have proved this, and had they been shown she would of been favourite from weeks and weeks ago.

Rachel has no doubt been the most genuine, nicest HM to enter this year, and the detractors cannot deny that. She has always been there for her friends, Mohamed, although nominating her, and although she knew he did - did not take it to heart, Nicole, despite paying for her suitcase to be returned and despite giving her words of advice - repays Rachel by nominating her and bitching. Darnell, however troubled and complex, Rachel has always tried to keep him from going off the rails, and given him some genuinely good advice on how to not loose it, Kat - for whom she has always been there for the whole way through. In fact most people that Rachel has shown friendship to have not done the same for her - but she has never made a big deal of it.

Give a vote (Or four) to Rachel, weather she is your fav or not, as she has been a rock to all of your favs right from the get go - consistency, she has always been true to herself and been consistent throughout, the others havn't so much.

Vote for Rachel for sticking to her guns, if she wanted to sit on the fence then surely she'd of taken the easy route and gone with the crowd? Take the cake for example, if she wanted to sit on the fence as many people think, then why on earth would she make a mess for herself? The whole VT debacle, if she wanted to sit on the fence, then why not just say 'Yeah, your right Rex'? and why nominate Rex to his face when the rest of the house went for Sara/Lisa? These and many other decisions are proof that she goes against the grain when others have gone with the rest of the group.

Vote for the good in someone, vote because of the above, vote to stick it to the likes of Luke, Bex, and everyone in general, vote for the overwhealming degree of critism and abuse she has put up with, inside and out - Vote for Rachel Rice![/B]

Cat overreacted a lot in her fight with Darnell. Rachel stood there beside and obviously no clue why she reacted like she did.

Being someones friend does not mean you always have to defend them. Even your friends can be wrong, beahave bad or anything else like every other persons.

I used to have a friend who alwys got himself in trouble. One day he got a beating with me sitting not so far away. I had no desire to help him since I truly bealive he deserved the beating.

yeah I actually agree with you ... that was a cheap shot on my part ... Rachel shouldn't have helped Kat out when she was in the wrong .. but she did get up and leave with the others when Kat was talking about how she ought to get the money because of her poor grandmother ...( oh wait that's another tick for Rache )
