i love big brother, but it peaked at big brother 6, big brother 7 was a flop (not in ratings in my opinion), big brother 8 was dreadfull and the only entertainment was branded a hate figure, big brother 9 had an amazing start, but as usual the public have ruined it, they do it every year, they evict the entertainment then complain when it becomes a bore, so unless they somehow ban the general public from voting (and i dont see how that could work), then big brother needs to be put to sleep

As long as Big Brother brings in income, C4 will continue it. It provides most of their funding for the year.

And it's contracted to last until 2011, not sure what will happen after that.

Bu t i agree the public are a bunch of compliners the yevict the entertainment then complain aobut how boring it is.

I still stick to my idea of they need more alcohol again. like bb7 and bb6.

its basically the public's fault, just think how amazing big brother COULD have been over the years, with finales like this:

BB6: kemal, derek, craig, makosi
BB7: Nikki, Grace, Lea, Aisleyne, Richard, Glyn
BB8: Charley, Shabnam, Samanda, Lesley (even though she walked)
BB9: Steph, Lisa, Bex, Luke, Sylvia

its all down to the public

Yea but didn't bringing in more alcohol cause problems in the house. People might have watched it more when there was more alcohol going on to liven things up..but then when those shows finished those same people might have vowed not to watch it again because of the bullying and fighting.

I think people wanna be entertained for sure, but they just don't like the fighting and bullying, racism etc, because they get enough of that where they are.

I agree but people would keep wtahcing to see if who ever done that was evicted that friday night.

Before this series, I thought bb had had its day, but now I think it might have quite a few more years left in it.
