Housemates put on a classic mime show but had to start without Jason and Victor, who at 4.15pm hadn't had enough time to sleep.

With the Parisian music for the two-minute show already playing, they got out of bed to put their mime outfits on. But they found by the time they arrived in the garden, the show had already started.

The other five housemates were busy performing classic mimes like being stuck in a box and opening a door. Dan attacked the mini-task with gusto and Stuart performed with his usual enthusiasm.

Jason came out to mime pushing a piano as Stuart decided to play the imaginary instrument.

It wasn't the greatest performance ever witnessed, but they did get through all seven of their allotted movements.

Stu throws himself into the task at hand


Once the two minutes were up, Big Brother asked someone to come to the Diary Room. Shell went and got the bad news. They had failed the task.

Big Brother decided that not all housemates had contributed to creating the performance and so forfeited the ice cream machine they would have won for the weekend.

Dan immediately said, "I'm not buying that," insisting there never was an ice cream machine to win and the whole thing was intended to create more tension between the sleepy JCs and the rest of the House.

Michelle went to protest against Big Brother's decision, but to no avail. Exhausted and unrepentant, Victor went to have a lie down on the sofa.

Luckily nobody screamed for ice cream...

Heard about this task at work today! I don't know why Bb did not just give them the Ice cream machine???
