On October 4th 2008 in an interview with All Music Rihanna confirmed that she is currently in the studio working on her fourth studio album. She stated that, "I'm currently working on record number four and I'm having so much fun. I'm having so many new experiences and meeting so many new people, it's amazing". Rihanna also stated that the album will head in a more Techno Rock direction saying, "I want this album to head in the same direction as Good Girl Gone Bad but with even more edge. The tracks will be less R&B influenced and will have a feel closer to that of, Disturbia, Shut Up & Drive and Breakin' Dishes". Rihanna also stated that she will be writing 3 tracks of the album herself and that they are quite different from her previous work and also stated that one of the tracks will fit into the punk-rock category". A release date for the album has not yet been announced.

Ohh yeah, and all credit to her company for it, but as Gazbo said, people are getting annoyed. It could all backfire on her.

Hm... can only hope she gives it a break after recording it, maybe she is just doing it while she feels inspired!
But she really needs to get out of the limelight for a bit, let people miss her!


But other than that Disturbia and Breaking Dishes are my fave songs off that album so the next one should be good! Obviously they will release as many albums with her as they can, she is the next big thing! We have had small things but no one big like Rihanna has come along for quite a while! The latest superstar being... Beyonce or something!

She obviously has a huge fan base and people love her music. She along with Beyonce and Mariah are the female solo artists with the most number ones this decade, I can totally see why her company is releasing a new album so soon.
