Default \'High School Musical\' sets UK record

Quote:

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is in line to smash box office records in the UK, reports the BBC.

The film has pulled in £500,000 in advance ticket sales, with UK chain Odeon saying it has already taken £245,205 in bookings.

Odeon chief executive Rupert Gavin said: "Our cinemas have been inundated with calls to pre-book tickets for what could be the year's biggest kids and teen audience movie.

"With schools breaking up for half-term just as High School Musical 3 opens, we are bracing ourselves for a huge first week run."

The advance sales eclipse the record set by Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire in 2005.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens as school sweethearts, will open in UK cinemas on October 22.
I can't wait to see it!

It annoys me that I have to pay for it... as princess said.. I liked to sit in my house and watch it, so much less embarassing.

I guess I have to wait for DVD... that I will get someone else to buy me..

Come on what? Its obviously popular enough to have a third one. And it's broke records in this country which proves you're obviously in a minority.

To me that implies we should take a closer look to see what it's really like in your opinion or something.

Its popular... thats a good reason why I hate it... because its so rubbish and popular!
I hate popular stuff... its just a film for air heads! Stupid kids that cant handle a real plot! The quicker this HSM hype is over the better. Make space for real film makers and writers.

Even for 13 year olds its pathetic! Disney have gone so low on standards now... they used to make great films with a clever plot that kids could follow. Finding Nemo was the last decent film they made for kids.

HSM is pathetic in every way, people under estimate how smart 13 year old can be, they can follow story lines great so why the hell do we dumb it down and feed them complete trash in the form of HSM?! No wonder kids these days are completely dead in the head.
