Simon Cowell is reportedly furious with X Factor co-star Dannii Minogue after she snubbed his private party following the National Television Awards this week.
Cowell celebrated with fellow judges Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole after picking up a Special Recognition gong at the ceremony on Wednesday night. According to the Daily Record, Cowell was overheard describing Minogue as a "diva" after the Aussie star explained she could not attend because she had an early start the following day. "Even the producers went along as it was such a special night for Simon," a source told the newspaper. "But Dannii said she needed an early night. It was absolutely unbelievable and Simon was not happy." Minogue recently insisted that she was not feuding with Cowell, describing recent tabloid reports as "utter rubbish". The insider added: "Dannii insists publicly that everything is fine between the judges but it's clear that it's not. Everyone talks about the rivalry between Dannii and Cheryl but the real tension is between Dannii and Simon." An X Factor spokesman said: "Dannii did not join the other judges for dinner because she had to be up at 4.30am as she was working the following day for Next at the opening of the new Westfield shopping centre." I think Simon deserves a bit more credit then that. Why would a 48 year old man throw a strop like a 12 year old girl just because a co-star couldn't go to his party? More media nonsense.

can't nobody hold us down

Um, she had job commitment to prepare for? I'm sure Simon wouldn't appreciate Dannii being 10 minutes late for a live show just because her mum threw a birthday party early on that day, or something.
She's just being professional. |

Oh and just to add, Dannii opened Next in that new shopping centre in London and Kylie was leaving the country. Thats why she went.
