Default Help ! Virus :( [SOLVED]

I opened a message from my friend on Bebo which contained a virus - Now when i search on bebo and select a webpage, my pc opens a new window with a random website in it. Can anyone suggest how to get rid of it, or any free software i can download to get rid of it ?

edit : it only happens when i google something, it dosent affect me when i click a website saved in my favourites

Hmm, try going on control panel, uninstall, and see if theres a file that looks like the virus, and try and uninstall it or something?

My friend did that with one of those annoying MSN ones and its went away (:
