Eoghan\'s hair has X Factor
Quote:
Eoghan's hair has X Factor Northern Ireland schoolboy Eoghan Quigg may have a voice like a nightingale but his hair is a "bird's nest", one X Factor judge has said.
Pop guru Louis Walsh saved just one piece of criticism for Saturday night's show.
"My only critique tonight, Eoghan, is the hair - it is turning into a bird's nest. I suspect you're taking advice from Simon Cowell on hair," he said.
The comment prompted a flurry of comment on the internet, with chatrooms offering
the Dungiven schoolboy messages of support and bloggers wondering how best to get the Eoghan look.
The Quigg bird's nest hair may soon be the trend to follow for teenage boys.
Eoghan, 16, who is studying for his GCSEs at St Patrick's College in Dungiven, sang "Anytime You Need a Friend", from Saturday's Mariah Carey themed show.
Singing star Mariah said the schoolboy was "really cute" and had a "pretty voice".
"The high breathy stuff - that's your gem," she told him.
"He's got a tone that's a star quality, that's what I sense," she said.
His performance attracted a lot of praise.
Walsh told the schoolboy that he had no fear and "a brilliant personality".
There was just one piece of criticism - his hair.
However, bloggers were keen to find out what hair product he used and where they might get a cut just like his.
One fan added: "Louis needs to shut up. Eoghan's hair is gorgeous."
Another said: "I like the skater style hair. So ignore Louis!"
On Saturday, Laura White became the fifth act to be voted off ITV's X Factor.
The 21-year-old lost a sing-off against Ruth Lorenzo with a performance of Somewhere Over The Rainbow on the Mariah Carey-themed show.
