Default my cat has been missing

i am really distressed, my cat has been missing for 1 week, and it is really making me feel sick knowing what may have happened to him.

He is a handsome cat, he is tabby (black, brown, biege), unfortunately he has not been microchipped or has an identity collar because he kept taking it off, i feel like an irresponsible owner. He has been neutered.

I am thinking he was scared of all the bonfire as he was missing on thursday 6th november.

Do you think he will come home, i called the vet, hand-out leaflet, spoke to neighbours etc.

He is an outdoor and indoor cat, he loves going out at night and sleeping through the days, but he always comes home. There is a dual carriageway near my house, but i don't think he will be stupid to go there, and there has been no report of a dead cat on the road. I don't junderstand, he always comes back home, and i feel like a mad woman shouting his name, and the neighbours are not very co-operative. Please can you advise.

I had him since he was a little kitten, and the last time he went missing was 2 days, but only because we had builders in the house. He is now 20 month, and we had him for 18 months.

Aww this is sad. The thing with cats is they generally don't come back [really dont mean to upset you]. My cat disappeared when I went on holiday and never came back, so I know how you feel
Good luck though, I know how awful it is xo

All I can say is don't get your hopes up.

Cats normally never come back when they do disappear, they also are fond of running away when they know "their times has come."

Sorry honey.

Oh no. Poor little cat will be scared to death, won't it?

My friend's cat went missing a few weeks ago as well.

Out of curiosity, what is your cat's name?

That's so sad. I can't imagine losing a cat.

I hope he comes home/you find out where he is.

Sorry honey.

But he wasn't old, he was only 20 months, and he was healthy. In fact he had his vaccination a week before he went missing. i am so sad, and it is like losing your child. i just want him to return, he is just so handsome and my favourite boy.

His name is kit, and he was the perfect cat, he was combination of naughty but also sensible. I miss him soooooo much. I want to cry now. I just him home so i can look after him. I never should have let him out, all the fireworks probably scared him.

Aw, I guess just hope for the best. Its a shame he wasn't microchipped or anything, or even had a collar. I would try the best you can, I doubt anything would of happened to him, he probably just ran away.

I think it depends entirley on the cat, some dont come back some do. My dad lost his cat and he eventually found his way back home, maybe you can ask people to keep a look out. I really hope he comes back i know people dont realise how much they mean to you unless they have had one.
