Big Brother's Little Brother pundit Wayne Calcutt, 18, originally from Kilmarnock, was Nadia's biggest fan during the show's 10-week run.

I HAVE been addicted to Big Brother since the first series.

The show becomes my best friend for the 10 weeks. When my mates ask me to the pub, I say no. I'd much rather watch Stuart scratch his nose and Shell cook dinner for the group. I was watching Big Brother's Little Brother in the first week when they put out a plea for superfans. Being a Scot, my first instinct would have been to support Jason. But from the first moment I saw him I didn't like him at all.

Nadia appeared the only one who entered the house as herself. She didn't put on a front or try to score points by making alliances with anyone.

I did a day of auditions and out of three potential Nadia superfans, was chuffed to be selected.

My days consisted of watching a couple of hours of BB in the morning before work. Then I watched on the internet during the day, before going home to remain glued to the show in the evenings.

When Nadia was up for eviction on the Friday, I got to be part of the crowd. Then Channel 4 put me up in a hotel and I spent Sunday filming.

I got on OK with the other superfans but it could get a bit heated because Nadia can do no wrong in my eyes. She was courageous and inspirational. She laughed, she cried, she argued, she had fun.

Past winners such as Cameron Stout and Kate Lawler stayed in the background to win public favour but Nadia didn't play any game. She was herself. When you think about it, this was the first time in her life strangers accepted her for who she is and treated her as a woman.

She had no idea the public loved and respected her so much. My favourite Nadia moments included the time she had to make all the housemates laugh in return for a chocolate cake reward.

She had no idea what to do with Jason so just acted the fool and put a smile on everyone's faces. It was classic BB. Her laugh is so full of character. She's pure bonkers.

The other housemates were good value too. I enjoyed seeing Michelle throw a flip flop at Ahmed and watching the Somalian's hapless attempts to stage a military coup.

People slag off BB but they must ask themselves why it fills the newspapers, if it's not popular.

Most of those who complain about it are closet fans and it's about time they came out and admitted they are just as hooked as I am.
