One thing that's been getting on my nerves here recently are all the pointless, attention-seeking "goodbye" threads made by numerous members announcing that they're "leaving the forum". What is the point of posting a thread on it? We don't care. It's only a forum for God's sake. Many people on here also seem to forget that it's only a forum and say things like "Oh, I'm not liked here" and "I don't know what I've done wrong. Why am I hated?" Argh, it's a flippin forum!!! It's not the BB house! You come here to chat and have fun in your free time, not to spend untold hours pretending to cause drama here! Most people don't even know you in real life here! Anyway, rant over.

if they are actually leaving the forum then fair enough if they want to say their goodbyes.....

but its those goodbye thread being posted when there going to comeback anyway...

there realy is no point for that!

Exactly. A thread just saying goodbye would be fine, but in my opinion, the ones that say "I'm leaving because I'm hated here" are from extremely sad people who are obviously so out of touch with reality that they think that people who come on a forum and talk to them, and say something they don't like to them, hate them.

If I was going for a while, or just like forever, I wouldn't bother making a thread. Its only a bloody forum and besides I wouldn't personally tell anyone if I was going, nobody really needs to know.

And there are members who claim that they are "going" or are "going to spend less time" but when really they don't.
