Default Tonights poor sound

Oddly, the backing track was a lot louder for Eoghan and Diana, maybe to disguise bad vocals?

It was on Eoghan's high notes because he wasn't singing them, he was miming.

Hmm, Saint Ruth's was way too loud last week, maybe to hide bad vocals?

There was an awful croaky whiny noise coming from my TV when Diana was on. Strange that.

It wasn't, you could clearly hear her voice all the way through. Shame the same can't be said about Princess Diana

Diana was singing fine, it was just the backing music that was loud.

Thats exactly why it was done! They were both horrid in the high notes, and Eoghan maybe didnt even do the notes franly you didnt hear anything! ANd the whole VT was about him trying to hit that note, and they covered it up with the kids. That was so obvious! I am not sure, that was the intention with Diana though, more a mistake, cause it didnt help her performance! It did however for eoghan!

Im listening back to it just now, and I could hear her all the way through?

Ruth's Take My Breath Away, and Angels drowned her out on the choruses, but it doesn't have anything to do with them, it's because the sound technicians are ****.

She wasn't drowned out on Angels at all, not too sure about Take My Breath Away, I can't remember that. At least you could actually hear her. Eoghan's feeble note that he was trying to disguise was shocking and couldn't hear him one bit, just the backing.

I just find it funny how this years chosen 2 and tonights worst performers had a louder backing track and trouble hearing them over the better 4.

I agree about Eoghan, but not DIana. I dont think it was to hide poor vocals either, cos Diana sounded great during the VT when she done it acoustically.
