Clean up: Eoghan sick of fellow x factor contestant\'s mess, but admits he\'s not perfect

Clean up: Eoghan sick of fellow x factor contestant's mess, but admits he's not perfect RISH X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg (16) is sick of fellow contestant Diana Vickers' (17) untidy habits that mess up his room.
The smooth-singing Derry boy has told how Diana's house manners are not half as good as her singing. The young pair are rumoured to have kindled a romance in the X Factor house, but Eoghan still includes Diana's messy behaviour among his pet hates in the house.
"Diana leaves spoons and pictures all over the floor -- it's messy and it's been in her mouth and it's got her saliva on it," he said.
But Eoghan, who is ment-ored by show boss Simon Cowell, admits he has his housekeeping faults as well.
"Maybe not washing up my dishes and stuff. That's not my pile in the sink though. My room isn't messy any more. It took me three days to clean it last week after Scott and Austin's beds were taken out. I've cleaned my whole room and put all my stuff in the wardrobe -- you could have a dance rehearsal in there."
But the housekeeping will not be getting Eoghan's full attention anytime soon as he focuses on his performances for Saturday's semi-final.
The teenager has been tipped to get to the final since early in the compet-ition, but still can't believe how well he has done.
Revealed
"When I entered this competition I didn't even think I would get past the first round," he revealed.
Since getting through X Factor boot camp and judges' houses, Eoghan has been living in a London house with the other contestants, far from his family and friends back home in Derry.
The youngster has loved his adopted home and is hoping that he'll still be there next week.
"I will miss the house because 11 weeks is a long time to live anywhere. I've adapted to it now so it will seem strange to move," he said. "But at the same time I am really looking forward to going to home to see my friends and family."
Eoghan, Diana, Alexandra Burke and Louis Walsh's group JLS are the four acts that will perform in Saturday night's semi-final.
Judge Dannii Minogue's final contestant Ruth Lorenzo was knocked out of the competition last weekend, leaving the pop princess with no one to mentor coming into the semi-final. Dannii's act Leon Jackson won the competition last year after a final showdown with her other singer Rhydian Roberts.
