the one who the winners song was most suited to fell at the semi finals. Last year it was Niki (who the judges say did the best version) and Diana this year, who the song was blatantly chosen for.
Just a pointless observation I thought I'd share ![]() |

Lets hope she releases it as a single herself, as it will blow away whoever wins.

They should learn from their mistakes. They got Lucky Leona got to do A moment like this. It coulve been ray!
Why not choose one song for each one of the final 4 contestants, and let it be a song that fits their vocals! |

Yep.
Further 2 year related observations: Laura White and Maria Lawson were both favourites to win and fell at week 5. Beverley Trotman and Rachel Hylton both sang Feelin' Good in week 3, had an identical hairstyle, and both finished 6th. Hope were described as the "best group the X Factor has ever had", a description JLS have been given this year. For two years running, Simon Cowell has had an act in the final who have targeted the same age group for votes (Same Difference and Eoghan - tween market) If I think of any more, I'll add to the list. |

However, the producers wouldn't be happy with that as their selected winners song could be less popular than a contestant who they don't want to win. |
