Default The Tina and LaToya issue

I thought I had to say something, because it's been bugging me for a while now. I've heard on about three ocassions now that on last night's highlights show the way Tina spoke to LaToya was a "disgrace". I mean do people expect Tina to speak in a different manner to LaToya just because she's a Jackson? Just because she comes from a well known family doesn't mean people should treat her differently. Tina didn't treat LaToya like a member of the Royal family last night and she shouldn't have to either, she speaks to everyone like their equal. Rant over.

The fact that the word 'issue' even has to be used is worrying enough. If LaToya was not bothered by Tina, why the hell should we be bothered about it?

Some people on here curse everyday and yet they still used that riddiculous argument about having to talk a certain way to a certain person. You might call it having respect, I call it being as fake as ****.

Respect to me is being who you are, without exception.

Theres already a thread about this why not just post in there.I probably worded my post incorrectly last night,I should have said it is ignorant to speak to anyone in the way Tina did last night,I`m sorry but I just think using a swear word as every other word is ,common, dumb and pretty ignorant.I do have respect for Tina in some ways ,becuase she does speak her mind and Im not saying that I never swear because I do but the way she does it is just vulgar and embarassing.Thats my opinion anyway.

I agree, I see no issue to be resolved unless LaToya came across as if she had an issue with it, which she clearly did not.

I think judging character and intelligence on how many swear words a person uses is common, dumb and pretty ignorant.

It wasn't an issue until someone decided to rant about it, i thought it was a perfectly fine conversation to be honest.

there is no issue and i dont get why everybody is making it into something its not
if there was a issue latoya wouldnt have stayed talking she could have moved away, spoke to someone else, said something to tina about it, gone diary room etc but she didnt
yes tina swears is loud and says what she thinks but hy she have to change just cos some viewers of a program dont approve its who she is and like i said latoya clearly didnt have any issue

Why is everyone using the fact that La Toya diddn`t have an issue with the way she was spoken to as a response?
I never said she was offended by it,I said that I felt it was cringeworthy as I feel its un necessery to use a swear word as every other word you say.Especially when you are talking to someone you have just met.

Whattever. It was cringeworthy the way she was speaing. It was embarassing. I felt embarassed for her. NOt only about that, but also, when she decided to spill her guts to Tina about her abussive marriage, that woman again acted like an idiot, turning the conversation to her. She said something like well mine was worst. I mean, where does she come from for gods sake? She is like a cave woman. ANd Supernoodles, there was nothing worng with your thread. You simply stated that the conversation made you cringe. Its like when you have an embarassing family member, and they are talking to one of your friends, or something, you cringe as well.

She wasnt offended, as there was nothing to be offended by, but she was uncomfortable. Its that simple. When youre not used to swear words, and someone like that talk to you, you are uncomfortable.
Its just having common sense, to adapt the way you speak sometimes. I do it in the real depepnding on the situation.

Have you confirmed that with LaToya herself? I would imagine given the nature of what she was discussing with Tina, she was quiet comftorable with her. I know if I was uncomftorable I would not be talking about abuse.

Because nothing is more cringeworthy and ignorant than making poor assumptions on behalf of other people.

I think you dont have to be a genious to figure out when someone is uncomfortable. Have you spoken and confirmed it to with LAtoya, yeah, very clever. Anyone with enough observational skills can tell when people are uncomortable. Thats why some people in life are able to assess these things (emotional intelligence), and some who are just airheads, like Tina, cant tell. I am guessing you usually have to ask people to figure that out, like "excuse me, who is uncomfortable right now". Good for you, better safe than sorry.

I didn't see anything wrong with how Tina was talking to her. If La Toya was so bothered about it, I'm sure she'd have enough back-bone to say so, or perhaps not stay talking to her for over an hour?

Yeah.

To make a big deal out of it is a big silly.

Yes, Tina did swear quite a bit, but then again why should she change for LaToya, I'm sure LaToya has swore herself and knows many people who swear just as bad. If LaToya didn't like Tina she wouldn't continue to speak to her, but she has.

Tina is just herself and yes, she's loud and she swears. I don't think she should change her speech just because shes speaking to LaToya. If it was the Queen then fair enough!

I totally agree AMA I am glad someone has the decency to see that that woman is just vulgar, stupid and inconsiderate. You brought up a good point when you mentioned how when La Toya was speaking of her abusive marriage Tina changed the subject totally back round to her,and La Toya was left just nodding her head in agreement. The woman couldn`t get a word in edgeways

What a loose argument. Your basing something you claim as fact off your own observational skills? Also, brush up on your spelling before you bring patronisation into the game.

Besides which, like I already said, if she was uncomftorable in the convorsation why on earth would she be in it, let alone talk on about her husband?

In FACT, correct me if im wrong here, Tina and LaToya actualy seem to be getting along very well thus far. I have heard both of them say one another is very nice and engaging on live feed countless times.

Are you going to go against the housemate themselves opinions with your own unique brand of observation and emotional assesment?

Have you ever met her, let alone held a convorsation with her? If not, I think you should reserve such harsh judgement. People might think your vulgar, stupid and inconsiderate.

What a ridiculously harsh opinion to have on someone you have never even met before. How can you possibly have made your mind up on someone based on one conversation.
