Coolio in crowd surfing wipe-out

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Coolio ended up on the floor when an attempt to crowd-surf at a university gig went wrong this week.

The rapper was encouraged to jump by the audience, but most of the students watching are believed to have then jumped out of the way.

"He nearly flattened one poor girl, then all the students decided to launch on him," a barman at the event told the Daily Star.

"They grabbed whatever they could, including his trainers, watch, chains and glasses. He was pulled back onstage by the bouncers. They got his shoes back for him."

The Gangsters Paradise star was involved in another fracas at a Barnsley nightclub earlier in the month.
