Default Jackson in X Factor shock

http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/blog/article/133742/

Michael Jackson is being lined up as the top attraction on this year's series of The X Factor.

The singer will be in London in the Autumn and Simon Cowell is determined to sign him up for an appearance.

An X Factor source told the Daily Mirror: "Britney was a massive coup for Cowell. But he's determined to raise the bar even higher and secure Jacko's services.

"He is perhaps one of the few artists who could outshine Britney. The only sticking point is that while Britney had her new album to promote, Jacko's shows have sold out in minutes and don't necessarily need the publicity. But Cowell won't let that stop him. He is determined to get his man."

The past few days have seen Michael Jackson mania returning to the UK after a frenzy to buy tickets to his live shows in the summer. Up to one million people are now expected to see him perform at The O2 when he performs a record-breaking 50 shows at the venue.

Just because he beat some record doesn't mean he'll outshine anyone.

I still can't wait to see how he'll drag his frail self up on stage and puts on a show. The man can barely walk about, yet put on a 50-residency at the 02.

I'm not talking about the gap in the middle, I'm talking about each date he performs. Fans are expecting 'the world's greatest performer' to just magically return when they're forgetting he hasn't as healthy as he once was. It's even been reported he's already losing sleep and panicking over the dates. It's just Michael needing more money to pay off his large debts. If he wanted to get out and perform on a world tour, he would have done it much earlier.

LOL! MIchael Jackson can just stand there mue, and he will outshine Britney. He can show up in a wheel chair, he will outshine Britney. And it wouldnt be very hard to do better than the most criticized performance of Xfactor ever.

And BTW, we are talking about Xfactor, not the O2 arena.

The thning is, Britney hersel, have enough admiration and respect fro Michael Jackson, she would never atttempt to compare hersel to him, but then again, wouldnt expect anything less.

I never said anything about outshining Britney. I'm not comparing either of them.

YOu answered the person saying he will outshine Britney, and said no he wont just because he sold tickets doesnt mean he will. You are saying exactly that. And it will be very easy for him to do so in the Xfactor.
As for a tour, I hope a 25 year old young woman, can be more energetic and outstanding than a 50 year old legend. If she didnt then she might as well retire now.

No it was Randy Pillips of AEG
that helped MJ get fit into this.
MJ is in America looking at what he can do with top band.
Energywise.

The AEG Arena
are backing him up
they even are doing a new CD

Newspaper reports are all over the place

Maybe he can sit for some ballads

Time will tell Mark S.

You made that quite clear, yet, the first opportunity you get, youre right there. Or is this your way of exiting any argument you know you cant win! By claiming that youre not arguing about Britney anymore, when it goes south!
Well there is nothing wrong wth arguing, as long as you make points that can be backed up. Britney Spears vs Michael Jackson, not exactly a wise thing to attempt.
