David Willetts, the Conservatives' choice for skills minister, needed help changing light bulbs. He has agreed to repay the bill.

Am I one of the few people that wasnt all that surprised by this? MP's are on a fixed salary of about 60k a year. Thats a good salary for most but its by no means makes them rich. They were bound to fiddle expenses it's just a shame it got so out of hand.

Someone made a good point that benefit cheats are prosecuted and sent to prison. Are we going to do the same for these MP's?

Hazel Blears paid hers back too. Should she lose her job? And should David Willetts lose his job?

Arista sees everything through Utopian eyeglasses. He better think about all these posts he's making, because if the Cons get in, the spotlight is on them, and they will get beat up the same way Labour is. Politicians are corrupt. Plain and simple.

last time I checked Daily Telegraph salaries aren't paid by tax payers so they don't need to be publicly accountable.
