It's tired, the ratings are falling which means it'll be harder to sell advertising space to companies which means that the profit margin of the show would be reduced and due to the falling viewer figures ithe amount made from votes is decreasing as well. It's getting financialy unviable.

It needs a rest, give it a few years off the air and if it doesn't make a good return then put it to bed for good.
