This week’s shopping task involves one housemate becoming Henry VIII, as Siavash came to the diary room to collect the task instructions he has unwittingly taken this role in the task.

Henry VIII will have to choose six housemates to be his wives and a further two to be courtiers. All these housemates will live in luxury in King Henry’s Court while all other housemates will become cooks. There is however one other special role - the village idiot - the housemates however do not know what this ’special role’ involves.

For the duration of the task the house will turn into Tudor England, including a court and Tudor Kitchen. Access to the house kitchen is forbidden and housemates must only eat the food set in the Tudor Kitchen, which is all in its most basic form - rabbits, chickens, vegetables, etc.

Those housemates who are cooks will be required to prepare food for a feast on the second day using real traditional Tudor recipes. All housemates must fulfil their roles throughout the two days, should a housemate be punished, the Village Idiot will take the blame and must take whatever Tudor punishment Big Brother sets, such as wearing a barrel or going in the stocks.

Sounds like this might be a good task, seems like one of the best so far at least - I just hope BB makes it as good as it can be
