Default BB should protect Sree...

He has become a figure of fun and to mock in the house. The other housemates, actually Noirin and Marcus are the guilty party.
Big brother should protect Sree...the other HM's are mocking him and looking for ways to see Sree humiliate himself. For example when they were (mainly Noirin at first) were pumping him up to jump over the pool. You could see he wasnt confident. Peer pressure pursuaded him. Lisa knew it too. You could see Lisa felt uncomfortable about it. I was thinking Lisa advise him not to.

Marcus is guilty of trying to get Sree to look bad. You could see him licking his lips during the Sree vs Siarvash race incident. These people pursuaded Sree to race wanting him to lose and feel down.

You have a good point there, 'doublewit', but I watch Bb for entertainment and even if they are teasing him or worse it makes for good entertainment, also he seems to laugh a lot, so maybe he isn't that upset by it
Mainly we are all talking about him, that has to be a positive thing!

yeah interesting point and I think Noirin was ott with trying to get him to jump over the pool. That could have ended in disaster if he'd hurt himself. BUT Sree is an adult, like Siavash he could have just said no and stuck to his guns. Noirin knew that his boastful nature couldn't take not trying to show off. Did you notice how he mentioned jumping over the pool later on when Siavash had beaten him in the 'race'?

He did it to himself.

He made himself a figure of mockery.

If somebody disabled or mentally deficient was taken advantage of or manipulated we would be horrified and we would expect some protection for the person.

I know Sree isnt any of these things but like somebody has said people know his weak points (such as boastful nature) and are able to manipulate him in order to see him humiliate himself. That is vile.

So if somebody has a gameplan of attacking others through exposing his/her weakness, that should be prohibited by big brother... because after all, BB should be fair and square.

The fact is: Sree needs to learn humility. And no one can teach to him that except himself.

After all the hullabaloo, he haven't learn this, but preach a lot of philosophical bullshit that he never applied in his life.

I mean if HM's wish to hurt a fellow housemate that is wrong. I was concerned for Sree when he was gauded into jumping over the pool. He could have got hurt and I thought it was likely. Lisa was also concerned but dared not speak out in case she was accused of being a spoil sport.

Noirin was uncaring. Very unwoman like.
Marcus has it in for Sree. Maybe he thinks Sree is getting in the way between him and Noirin.

I agree he. Maybe someone sensible should protect him in there. Lisa is the one. She should look out for him. To be fair she is trying to.

A 25y/o and need a supervision from an adult.

What a joke.

Why can't he say NO like what Siavash did when Sree is pounding him to jump?

If Noirin and others say to Sree to get a knife and cut himself, will he do it?

Sree has a big problem with ego, wanting to impress etc. He cant help it. The others know this and I think the fact they are targeting this is sickening.

A responsible HM would see that Sree was gonna dig himself into a bigger hole and keep digging (after losing the second time against Siavash) and would step in early to avoid it. Siavash should have said when they entered the bedroom...'dont worry I dont want to take your beer' ... If he said this earlier Sree wouldnt have made the stupid comments about 'Status and prestige' ....

And so BB is not a game at all.

Naturally, in a game, you hound people's weakness and let them lose the game. Where on earth are you going to see a game on which you try to build someone's strength.

And obviously, in the house, everybody is annoyed with Sree (except for Lisa).

Even if I am in that situation, I would go as far as that. He needs to learn a lesson. A lesson of humility. Less ego. And stop bragging about himself, because he is not in anyway better than anyone else.

That's what you get when you are playing with fire. He deserves what happens to him right now, he was ridiculous last night when he lost. I love watching him getting humiliated and digging his hole deeper and deeper.

I agree. However Srii has taken quite a bit now. No more. Is he gonna face this behaviour for the remaining few days and more if he was to survive eviction. That is the question.

if he change his attitude, then I guess housemate won't take on him.

That's what Karma is.

Sree is arrogant, selfish and, to my recollection, has never attempted to do anything that will benefit another HM

Are you suggesting that because these traits are his personality, other HMs should embrace them, accept them, then alter their own behaviour and attitude to accommodate them?

Double standards doublewit?

HM's dont have to alter their behaviour but do you think those HM's are looking good in the eyes of the public? Surely they are intelligent enough to see that this isnt gonna look good on them.
