On saturday night me and my mates went out clubbing, like we usually do.


At the end of the night we split into 2 groups because some of us wanted food.

All the guys went home, while me and 4 of the girls went to the Kebab shop.


But before we got to the shop these two 28 y/o guys started shouting abuse at us and frontin us.


I tried to get the girls to keep walking, and stood in front of them. As I tried to walk away one punched me in the head.


It hurt, but I can deal with a punch. However, they then proceeded to hit 3 of my female friends.

One ended up with a brokn wrist, and another, who is the kindest, sweetest and most gentle soul I have ever met got punched straight in the face and now has to have an op on her jaw.


Luckily the police arrived just after this happened and it's all on CCTV and they arrested the vile men that did this.


It annoyed me even more to then find out that they were Marines!!!!


I'm sorry but what the HELL???

One you don't hit women, especially ones that are doing nothing and are trying to get away.


Two, Marines should know better, and I really hope that they get suspended from serving in the Marines for this.





AAAAAAAAAAAhhhh.


Sorry, rant over, it just annoys me because the girls did nothing and now have to deal with serious injuries because two marines can't handle their alcohol and have anger issues.

The one that broke her wrist has bounce back fine.

i have strong views over men hitting women having been there myself
it is shocking even more so cos they are technically in a position of power which they have abused so i hope proper action gets taken on them
men should not hit women they are vile excuses for men but the fact it was for no reason except they were drunk

that really is awful, i can;t even describe how nasty a deed that was.

personally i feel the same about men hitting women as i feel about women hitting men. I don;t feel gender should play too large a role in situations like this.

Hitting anyone irrespective of gender is a criminal offence, unless the person being hit is a child, in which case you can knock seven bells out of them and call it lawful chastisement - Go figure.

Any hue the idea that men can hit women, allegedly supported once by Sean Connery, goes back to the day when wives were considered as goods and chattels, and the husband was expected to use force to keep their wife in line, and wives accepted that.

Remember how police would dismiss many an assault with in the marital relationship as "Just a domestic" as if it was to be expected and that if a wife got beaten up, then she must have done something to deserve it.

There still is an attitude that I have seen on the net, that women must be kept in their place by men, bye use of physical force. Some will even try and give Biblical sanction by referring to some passages yet ignoring others and context.

In this case if they were marines you need to find out if they are to be tried in a civillian course or by courts marshall
