Default Most un-stereotypical GAY housemate? ever?

As a gay man it bugs me that so many of those who get into the House fit a gay stereotype...........
Lisa fits a certain butch model........though I dont dislike her...
Charlie is a bit of a clone at times

David went in SCREAMING!!!! oh god NO!!

there are other ways of being gay........

Dan from BB5, he could have probably got away as being a slightly camp straight guy
Derek in BB6 could have got away with just being posh

I think thats it though

I actually have a great deal of SYMPATHY for Craig Coates....on Big Mouth Anthony hutton described Craig as having become a nasty person but I didnt see that when he went in last week as an oldie..........his relationship with Hutton was the greatest EVER BB story line...compulsive viewing for a whole summer! ..........Craig was moving in some ways

I don't think Endemol would find anything interesting in a sensible gay person.
They have to be OTT and arms waving frantically gay for BB.
Which is a reason why I think Endemol are bastárds.

I like seeing a man decked out in all pink but I have to agree. When David went in I wondered where they manage to get these incredibly camp gay men. Last year it was Dennis, year before Gerry. Even as a straight man I find it very tedious.

Dale and Stuart and bum sex many a time.

I can't stand camp men, it annoys me. The only gay people I talk too are the straight acting kind. There are loads, you just don't know they are gay because you assume they are straight. Some gay people don't see the point in flaunting their sexuality just like straight people don't flaunt it.

it is a bit unfair that they put the uber camp/butch gay people in. saying that, in my work there are so many gay people and most of the males are really really camp!! a few of the gay guys are 'normal' and you'd struggle to tell they are gay and a few of the females are butch, but you've also got the 'lipgloss lesbians' too.

maybe it's because bb try to get the most 'entertaining' people they can and the camp, over the top gay people stand out a lot more??

still, it's not really a fair representation of the gay community to constantly put them in the house

That's because you can only tell that a "straight acting gay" is in fact gay is if he tells you.

A "real gay" man should never try to act "staright", as he should never try to act "camp".

In my view, a Gay man should simply act like a man. Heterosexual men do not have the monopoly on what it is to be a man.

Heterosexual "real men", fall for the same old tired gender roles that society expects. That's why they are just as predictible as camp men

I am Gay, I do not act llike a stereotype, I act like and expect to be treated as a man.
