It's just annoying when people automatically think you're anti scottish if you don't like murray, fair enough enough there are some like that, but I don't particulary like him as a player/person...and people like Chris Hoy so it's really not that much of an anti Scottish mentality

I don't automatically think that, but i was on a news message board the other night just after Andy won his semi final, and I have never seen such anti-Scottish bile and hatred in my life. Really nasty ****.

I do think though that Andy will have most of Britain behind him tomorrow... the true tennis fans anyway.

Federer is my favourite Tennis player. A winner who oozes nothing but class. It's a rare thing in sports these days. Would love him to win his first Slam in 2 years or so.


Murray is boring and has openly said on numerous occasions he will always support The Country England faces in any sport. Why should I back him?

When did he say that?

TBH I've never really though of tennis as a really patriotic sport like football or rugby. I think all the top tennis players are amazing and if it were a Federer/Tsonga final tomorrow, I'd be backing Tsonga.... not because he's French, but because I'd like somebody new to win it.

He's explained so many times about that ''I'll support whoever England face'' story..even on Talksport yesterday

A Journo came up to him and asked him if he'd be supporting Scotland in the World Cup (knowing they weren't in it, as a joke) so obviously he's going to get wound up and say something back in a jokey way

Plus his girlfriend's English, really don't see how he hates England so much

I've just never been able to connect with him really, a smile would be nice

Yeah same, I don't see why people are suppose to be patriotic in this kind of sport, they're representing themselves, not a country, the only real patriotic sports are the Olympics and other team sports like Football, rugby and cricket

Am happy with whoever wins today. Just glad Djokovic didn't make the final, I can't really warm to him. Nadal and Federer are the two nicest people in the sport, and Murray's obviously got the patriotism quality

He had trails with Rangers but he was obviously a better tennis player then he was a football player so decided to go with Tennis

If Fed wins today i will go as far as saying this is the greatest achievement in tennis history. The fact he would have beat 2 of the 3 players best players in this golden era at the age 0f basically 31 is immense. Couple that with the fact he will re-claim number 1 in the world which again is sjust insane

Wimbledon-Olympics Singles-Us Open then retire the best ending for the greatest ever player

I fully expect Fed to unleash 1% of GOAT mode today and take out the trash in 4

In one corner we have everything that is right with tennis Mr Roger Federer the man who plays with grace and style and actually attempts to win the points. In the other we have the bore Mr Murray who is more interested in boring his opponent to death hen actually going out to win the point

I know who i want to win and ANY OTHER TENNIS fan should be with me
