Hello final Challengers. Your time on Starship TC1 is nearly at it’s end. But first, you must battle for your place as the winners, and ultimately make it back to earth alive. In the spaceship there are only enough hibernation pods for one team to make it back home, in an estimated 1 million light years away from now. For this final battle, we have unleashed an orb of dark matter into the starship. This ball of dark energy can only be contained from ripping a hole in the universe by being held in the hands of a human. However, the energy from this orb is so dark that if held for too long, it could destroy the person holding it. Once the orb is released, one player must take it and hold it for a period of 1 hour. After the 1 hour is up, they must pass it to another challenger and they can pass it to whomever they choose. If they do not pass it before an hour they incur 1 fail and the orb will be up for grabs from anyone. After 24 hours, the person who has held the dark matter for the least amount of time combined with the most fails will be eliminated.

I think he might have changed his mind about that bit? The quotes in my last post were from earlier today and they kinda contradict this

It's all about tactics. The point of the task is not to incur fails, and in order to do that you need to pass the orb before the hour is up. I don't know how else to explain it?

No that makes sense, I think though that people think that by holding onto the orb or passing it between their team that it'll benefit them, like there'll be a tally of how long they've held the orb for and if they haven't held it for very long it'll count against them, whereas if it's only fails that count, you want to pass it to the other team in the hope they'll incur a fail, right?

Yeah I guess so. The amount of time you have had the orb would only count say if you only held it once and incured no fails but someone else held it twice with no fails then the person who only held it once would be eliminated.
