thebeast arrived at the abandoned library. She wasn't at all hesitant about this - she knew she was innocent and although the Killer might not exactly be here, she was willing to die if it meant proving the others wrong.

The first thing she saw was a huge pile of torn and neglected books.



It was a shame, she thought, to see all of this knowledge and information, all of this work and creation being so destroyed and ignored in this condition. But then a worrying thought struck her - she didn't have to read all of these for the clue, did she?

The candlelit atmosphere could be described as beautiful at any other time, thebeast reflected. But the sense of urgency and uncertainty made each and every flickering shadow a menace.

She walked through to the main room and saw that there were PA speakers all around - meaning this couldn't be that old a building. In the middle of these thoughts, a sudden crackle startled her as the speakers announced:

"Don't trust Dezzy - he's not who he says he is. And watch out for Gemmer-x, too."

Incredibly confused, thebeast took this to be a clue and made for the exit.

Wilson Ball was an agreeable man. He wanted to get this case over with and head home to his young wife - he was going to retire from this stupid profession, this was one case too far.

Dropped off at the aquarium, Wilson immediately suspected this wouldn't be a likely scene for a murder, which if anything made him feel worse. At least it wasn't a nightclub, he mused.



There was a cold beauty about the place. But the fearful side within him rushed ahead and thought "God, I'd be ****ed if someone took a hammer to the glass".

"Why did I think that?", he sighed, "and why am I talking out loud?"

A tank to his left was lighter than the others - on top of it there was a wet suit and a laminated sign. "Dive in!" it said, but Wilson wasn't stupid. He crouched down and looked into the tank - and he could see another sheet of paper taped to a wall of the tank inside.

Excited, he needed to see that piece of paper. He rushed to put on the wetsuit, put on a snorkel and goggles, and stepped down the ladder.

Inside the tank, it was very warm. He turned around to see the paper - in the distance he could make out one very large word:



He was excited now and swam forward with urgency - he didn't even notice the footsteps above, as the latch to the tank was sealed shut from the outside. In his impatience he swam over to the sign and saw the rest of it:



His heart grew heavy, his insides were like lead. He'd never been so disappointed - how could he be so stupid? He swam back to the entrance and saw it was dark. Exasperation took over and he was running out of breath.

They often said that in coping with death you have to go through 5 stages - denial, depression, anger, grief, acceptance. He was definitely angry with the killer and sad he'd never see his wife again - and as time ran out Wilson learned to deal with his fate. There was nothing he could do. He was hopeless, but happy. He went unconscious.

It says thebeast knows shes innocent, and I think she could be. The voice could have been PJ (or Gary's but I dunno) saying watch out for Dezzy or Gemmer to knock us off course. Hmmmm so confused.

I think the voice saying watch out for Dezzy and Gemmer is the killer trying to set up them.
That leaves me, you and Gary as possibilities (beasty was the 1 who heard it and Jess is now dead) its not me so that leaves you and Gary..

Orr its not the killer and God knows.

hmm i'm thinking that it's not beasty now.. the actual killer (PJ?) is perhaps trying to set thebeast up..

The 6 remaining detectives were questioning thebeast about her survival back at ICB HQ, when an alarm interrupted them.

The same PA. Voice that thebeast had heard in Isolation calmly declared "All of you, this is not a drill. Please leave the building quickly and in an orderly fashion".

"Oh ****!" screamed Alexa, as she ran for the stairs. A falling piece of flaming debris brought her to a halt and Matthew screeched.

"Watch out!" Albert cried as another wooden beam separated the group - Alexa, Matthew and Katy on one side - Albert and Gilbert on the other.

"Where's Ian!?" Katy screamed and she instantly knew he was behind the fire. She darted for the window and climbed out, Matthew not far behind. Out on the rooftop it was extremely windy and a helicopter was starting up - inside was a man who told Matthew and Katy he was with Shaun and the ICB team.

They didn't have much of a choice and so jumped in - until Katy screamed "What about the others!?"
"**** them, the Killer might be one of them!" Matthew worried.
"You're right, but how do I know you aren't Ian, 'Matthew', huh?" she pointed out.
"I'm too old for this ****" the pilot declared and took off.

Albert and Gilbert were trying to help Alexa through the falling building - a door swung upon behind her and Albert screamed, running the opposite way.

"You coward!" Gilbert cried, as Alexa turned around and saw Ian stood behind her. "Oh...Alexa...I'm so sorry. I'm SO sorry!" Gilbert sobbed, as Ian grabbed a file cabinet and pushed it flying towards him. It was every man for himself, Gilbert urged, and ran for the fire escape. Smoke was everywhere and he was convinced that the Killer would be more than happy with one victim.

On his knees, he crawled until he bumped into someone. "Oh, ****" he moaned, before Albert grabbed him by the arm.

"Quick! Up here!" Albert cried and signalled a zipwire from the roof to a building across the road.

There wasn't much choice, Gilbert noted, and so he grabbed a nearby iron pole and used it as a kind of coathanger - worried that the wire would suddenly be cut. They skidded down the wire with a frightening pace, until they let go and hit the gravelly ground of the adjacent apartment block.

They looked back and saw the whole ICB Headquarters in flames.
"The Killer, he can't get out can he?" Albert wondered.
"Surely not..." Gilbert replied.

"Listen, please, I'll help you kill of the rest - anything - just please don't kill me!" MrGaryy pleaded. He was more than willing to let Dezzy, Jords, thebeast, Gemmer-x and PJ die if it meant he could post one more condescending .gif to MichaelSpears.

"I work alone", the Killer smiled, and struck her with a crowbar. She was knocked out - and her charred corpse would only be discovered once the building had been extinguished. The Killer made a hasty exit - though how exactly he managed to do it, noone knows.

If my little theory is correct then PJ would be the killer cause Gary is now dead..
