Oh and TiBB has always been a popularity contest really, it's just got so much worse this past year. TiBB (IMO) is practically dead, and it died when it moved forums, they lost far too many good members, though not necessarily through the forums changing, and gained too many rubbish ones.

Golden era for me was during BB8, such a good laugh then, but I heard 2005 was apparently good haha.

The forum is no longer what it was imo, it's lost it's sparkle and the only reason I'm here now are for the handful of members I like.

And? Trolls ruin the forum. Why would we want them here?

Of course it's practical to say we should just ingore them, hell I've done it before on here and told people to do it. But there's always one or two that just can't resist, and have to go replying to their posts. It's just the way of the world. It can't be avoided, and so they win. So the only other option is to bring them down a peg or two, because then they might fuck off.

As for how they feel, of course I contemplate that. But if I think they're a troll - the only thing that I think they'll be feeling is happiness that they're getting the attention that they want. And did I ever claim to be an expert? Jesus Christ.

Tbh Wombai, on this subject, trolls come in many guises. They don't just spam. They create a whole new persona. They fool people, and they are very good at it. Sometimes it takes them years before they are caught out. Ask some of the members on here. They are quite clever.

They're extremely clever, and yes, it might seem a bit nasty of me to keep pulling these people up as trolls. But I'm just wary of stuff like that.

I couldn't care less whether it has been proven or not. Are we not allowed opinions now? Because an opinion is not a fact. Shall we abolish most threads on this forum, because they contain opinions? Because they arenn't facts?

I've not accused her on the forum as much as I used to, actually, as I was asked to cut it down. But quite frankly, regardless of whether they're trolls or not, if they post crap, I'm going to pull them up on it, because as I said, they need pulling down a peg or two.

I think somebody like jedwardfever is just a bit mischievous tbh. When he first came on during the last BB he did make an effort to be included; he posted a lot and started many threads. But he got jumped on instantly because of his punctuation and grammar. Which put him on the defensive all the time and made him frustrated. But I could see he just genuinely wanted to fit in.

Since then I think he kinda feels that if he's gonna be treated like an outcast then thats how he'll act. He digs at those he feels ****ed up his acceptability here; its his way of getting noticed. But he's a good example of somebody who COULD be a good member if he were cut some slack and shown some good will.
