To be fair, he shares a lot of ideas about how to treat non-white people, with Boris voters.

A very rare thing for me here.
Never thought I'd agree with former PM Theresa May on anything. However I agreed with every word she said in parliament yesterday on the Government's bill as to possibly breaking international law and treaties. |

[EU leaders' summit postponed as guard tests positive for Covid-19
A two-day EU leaders' summit due to start on Thursday has been postponed until 1 October after a security guard tested positive for Covid-19. European Council President Charles Michel has to quarantine, as he and the guard were "in close contact early last week", spokesman Barend Leyts tweeted.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-54251397 |

The sex of the pm is irrelevant. They are far worse now after purging the competent members for brexit and Johnson weirdos. You can't be happy with how this government is performing. All of project fear being proved true, disastrous handling of covid, no deal on the way...

Brexit: MPs approve controversial UK Internal Market Bill
Boris Johnson has seen MPs approve his controversial Brexit legislation, which ministers have admitted could lead to the UK breaching international law. The UK Internal Market Bill, which has provoked a furious row with the European Union, had its third reading passed by the House of Commons in a vote on Tuesday night, with a government majority of 84. It means the proposed legislation, which has now cleared all its Commons stages, will move to the House of Lords. The prime minister had ploughed ahead with the bill, parts of which will give ministers the power to override the Brexit divorce deal, despite the EU's call for him to withdraw those measures from the proposed legislation by the end of the month. Brussels has warned it will "not be shy" in taking legal action if the UK government does not agree to the demand. ...full article... https://news.sky.com/story/brexit-mp...-bill-12085505

Remembering Kerry
|
He got a strong overall majority in the election in December.
On only less than 44% of the votes cast. However because of that he can effectively do as he likes, immaterial of right or wrong. If his more gutless MPs support him. This just shows all that remains wrong with our outdated and unrepresentative voting system. No doubt he'll be pleased with himself. A sad day for what is presently the whole of the UK however. |

[EU starts legal action over controversial UK Brexit bill]
[The EU has begun legal proceedings against the UK over its plans to override sections of the Brexit divorce deal it signed in January. It comes after an EU request for the government to remove controversial sections of the Internal Market Bill passed on Wednesday. The "letter of formal notice" could lead to a court case against the government at the EU's top court. It comes as trade talks between the two continue in Brussels.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-54370226 https://news.sky.com/story/brexit-eu...-bill-12086606 Last edited by arista; 01-10-2020 at 09:24 AM. |
