But Hang On, The EU changed what they wanted. Our Middle Prime Minister "T. May" wasted so many months. Already 4 UK Warships are getting ready to defend UK waters. Parliament can not stop the 1st of January Brexit Start. The set up had to be done as over 4 years have achieved nothing. Posting this again. Last edited by arista; 13-12-2020 at 01:40 AM. |

The EU wanted New Rules (on the Trade Agreement) obeyed under their terms after we left. That is illogical. Johnson went himself found out the Stinking Truth. On the 1st of Jan 2021 we go under World Trade Rules. Our Parliament agreed on that day we are out. Sign Of The Times. Last edited by arista; 13-12-2020 at 07:32 AM. |

Arista, these are not new rules, the trade agreement can only work with a level playing field, everyone has always known this. It's the fundamental basis of it
Fishing rights has been an issue since we first joined the common market so it's hardly new either |

We are starting to look and sound like a near aggressive and irritating Nation right at this very late stage.
More like at war with Europe than trying to secure a deal with it. Our media awful as usual. This is the ugly side of brexit, it likely could have been a good thing long term, not with the uncompromising aggressive nature that's surfaced in the referendum and post it all through too. I will always be glad I can say I never voted for this near hate, division and dangerous self satisfaction, never caring for the consequences. Roll on for me another decade and a half when I can see a more representative Con party even, having to look at rejoining Europe's EU, whatever form that will be then, as more and more newer voters demand same. If, IF, I still live in the UK, IF even there's still a UK at that time. I'll be one clamouring to rejoin too. This Con party will in time will be I think, proven to fail this Nation as 4 Nations ever since coming to power in 2010. Awful but also unnecessarily sad too to witness. Boris Johnson's government has told UK shops to stockpile food with just hours to go until the no-deal Brexit deadline...
Boris Johnson's government has told UK supermarkets to start stockpiling food and other essential goods with just hours to go until the EU's deadline for a Brexit trade deal. The UK Prime Minister is due to speak with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday lunchtime when they will decide whether or not a deal is feasible before Britain is due to leave EU trading rules on December 31. On Friday, Johnson said it was "very, very likely" that Britain would fail to strike a trade deal before January. As negotiations continued over the weekend, ministers in Johnson's government have told UK supermarkets to start stockpiling goods due to expected shortages caused by a no-deal Brexit, the Sunday Times reported. "There was a conversation a week ago when ministers said prepare for no-deal. This weekend the message is that it's no-deal," a senior consultant to one of the biggest supermarkets told the paper. The UK could experience shortages of vegetables and other goods it sources heavily from Europe for months to come, the Sunday Times reported, with prices for consumers likely to soar due to newly-imposed EU tariffs. https://uk.yahoo.com/news/boris-john...095153237.html
