None of the characters are exactly thrilling this year. It's the change in format which has kept the viewers attention this year.

Ryan Murphy doesn't utilise Angie that well tbh, it's not really her fault that most of her characters have been weak.

Marie was the only role which really suited her, all the ones since have just been basically the same character written into the story somehow..

tbh her best acting was when she was playing Lee

She was great as Lee at the start of this season. There was no need to turn her back into a boring no substance character for the second half.

Her roles as Marie and Lee show she can act well and be a character, Ryan Murphy needs to put her talent to more use in future seasons, she's wasted on this show tbh.

Could Angela and Adina have swapped roles possibly at the start of filming? I just remember Angela saying she was the main character for the season months before it first aired when Adina is essentially the main character this year.

And as for Jessica, for some reason I was expecting her to be the Real Butcher.

Sarah has obviously been the main character in terms of screen time but in terms of story it's definitely Adina so it's a shame if Angela originally had her role.

It might have been done intentionally to try to hide the fact that she was the survivor. Kind of like how Kevin Spacey wasn't credited in Seven until the end credits rolled.
