Good ep, feels slightly like they're rehashing S1 though

Good episode, they've managed to make AHS legitimately creepy.

I don't think the ghosts are actually ghosts though. I think they are the byproducts of a curse or some sort of creature that's an amalgam of evil that can take the form of anyone it kills. Either way I think the story's going to get a major shake up in the next few episodes due to how quickly the 'hauntings' have escalated.

I thought the scene with the two nurses shooting that old woman was very Hotel shock value vibe but then they explained it about 10 minutes later which I always loved about the old AHS

I thought the bit with the Nurses was the weakest part of the episode. It just felt too similar to things we've seen in MH and Hotel.

If you think you know American Horror Story: Roanoke, you don’t. The latest season of FX’s anthology series has now aired two episodes, focused on a supernatural reality series called My Roanoke Nightmare. Many fans have their theories about where this season is going. Well, AHS viewers, ready to have your mind blown in a few weeks.

“You’ll see starting in episode 6, the show has a huge turn and the thing that you think you’re watching is not what you’re watching,” co-creator Ryan Murphy reveals to EW.

“Even though the subject matter has gotten out, it’s irrelevant because nobody gets what we’re doing,” says co-creator Brad Falchuk. “No matter what you think it is, it’s not that. Then, episode 6 comes and you’re like, ‘Wait! What happened?’”

While Murphy thinks the twist separates the season into two halves, Falchuk considers it three unique stories. He says, “It’s like [episodes] 1-5, 6-9, and 10 is its own thing.”

I'm guessing the "My Roanoke Nightmare" ends and then we find out what actually happened in the past with the colony and what happens to the characters after the documentary finishes filming. So those three parts?

Tbh, that sounds like Hotel. Jumping from one thing to another with no climax.

ugh WHY do we need to connect seasons all the time.. like I dont get it.. the whole point of AHS is that every seasons different.. I dont want characters from 8 years ago showing up again

The only letter the nurses were missing before they 'disappeared' from the M-U-R-D-E was R, could that possibly be Roanoke? & the nurses somehow link to the disappearance of the Roanoke Colony?

Just finished watching episode 2, it was really good and creepy.

It feels like AHS again.

Maybe there doing different themes this season, so like first 5 episodes are about Roanoke and then the next 4 are about something different, and then something else with episode 10.
