Default Bi Election Conservative Scott Benton MP : Whip Suspended

Another Fake Company
he had a feeling
so did not hand over his details.

[A Conservative MP who reportedly offered
to lobby ministers on behalf of the
gambling industry and leak
a confidential policy document
for up to £4,000 a month has
had the party whip suspended.

Scott Benton, the MP for Blackpool South,
was caught by undercover reporters
for the Times posing on behalf
of a fake investment fund saying he could
“call in favours” from colleagues
and get “easy access” to ministers when
queueing for parliamentary votes.]

But a Clip on all TV & Radio news
has made Rishi jump on him.

BBC News Text :
[Tory MP Scott Benton was filmed offering to
lobby ministers for a fake company
in return for payments by undercover
reporters posing as gambling industry investors,
the undercover investigation found. Mr Benton,
who was suspended as a Conservative MP
after the story broke, did not pursue
the role and no rules appear
to have been broken.]
