My parents had absolutely no idea what I was doing from the age of about 13 onwards. Literally, none. Should someone have been chastising them? Probably... I am pretty sure that it wasn't my fault, though, and likewise, it isn't any teenager's fault if they find themselves caught up in stupid situations. Whether they have perfect parents or not.

If a child finds themselves living a lifestyle that is depressing, stressful or upsetting - for ANY reason - then they first and foremost deserve support and understanding from adults. Or at the very least, not to be judged or ridiculed By supposed adults.

her so-called pressures and mental health problems are all stemming from her own vanity and narcissism. how can anyone have sympathy for that? not to mention that her social media career was all about perpetuating those societal pressures to other girls and she was profiting from it the whole time.

I've watched the vid and she's right ... most do try their best to show a distorted reality on social media. 'having a snuggly duvet day' usally means I had a skinful and spent most of the night with my head down the bog.
Pictures can't be uploaded without the correct filter and cropping, this is the social media generation becoming disillusioned with social media and it's limitations.
