The BBA and UK BB houses are currently having a video-conference via the plasma and television screens inside the two houses.

Much screaming is ocurring between the two groups, with Gae introducing the housemates from BBA to the UK housemates, and Cameron introducing the housemates from UK BB to the BBA housemates.

Ahh, they're all screaming and happy... dear me, they're really quite mad... give them a live link up and they go all hyper.

Wonder how 'homesick' it made Cameron and Gae.

BB makes TV history

It was definitely a moment that will go down in the pages of television history. two continents on opposite sides of the globe connected in probably the most exciting show on earth. No doubt the Housemates, both here and in the UK, knew stuff about each other, but never did they think they would. Though separated my millions of miles and a plasma screen, the one they do share is living inside the BB House and all that goes with it.

The two groups of Housemates went ballistic when they saw each other and probably their reps in separate Houses. One could not help get the feeling that Abby was hoping for some sort of message or a secret sign. But to her dismay there was nothing of the sorts. Gaetano introduced the BB Africa Housemates to his new family and Cameron did the same from here in Randburg. There are just seven Housemates in the BBUK House, including Cameron. There are three women and four men and strangely enough all the girls are up for eviction in the BBUK House this week.

One of the first things that strike you about the BBUK House are the many bright colours and the ultra modern kitchen. They also have a swimming pool and a large oval bath in the bathroom. The sad thing though is that there is no camera in the shower in the BBUK House. We are better off here! Gaetano, for his part looked so relaxed and at home in the BBUK House. 'That was sweet, I really needed that', were Gaetano's words after seeing his beloved Housemates. Outspoken Cherise promised the UK men that she will definitely be coming for them and knowing her, that's no idol threat. Our Housemates of course could not stop marveling at the décor in the other House.

In a similar cross continent connection , two journalists both from a town called Orkney are doing the same. A local reporter from Orkney-SA is corresponding with one from Orkney in Scotland on the latest Big brother updates. Imagine that! Go Africa! Go Scotland!
