Default Siavash\'s nomination logic

Siavash asked Marcus who he voted for, it was Sophie and David. Sophie told him she was voting Marcus and David,
Siavash said he could not ask Rodrigo, as he wouldnt say, sophie said, Oh he will be voting Marcus and David...

Siavash knew Lisa, Charlie and David would be voting For him
and Marcus, so lets add these up...

Marcus 5

Siavash 3

David 3

Sophie 1

So, in his mind, if he had voted for David it would have put up just Marcus and David, which is what he said, and he would not have been up...he could not vote for himself with his second vote, so he was trying to get 3 up in the mix, which included himself. He was wrong because Rodrigo voted him and Marcus, but he had no reason to think Sophie would of got Rods nominations wrong...they are very close.

A bit complicated I know...but I believe this is what he meant, hopefully you understand it...

I think that's a good summary and hopefully will help people understand, I think people have jumped to the assumption he was trying to avoid nominations his whole theory is based on HIM going up hence "no free rides"

Yep, and he was sure he'd stay and David would go.... sure he said it earlier on in the programme that he wanted this outcome, so there was more value in not voting and then causing a scene outside later on. All tactics on his part that have backfired now although he's still placed himself in the martyr role....zzzzzzzzzzz.

No lol

If he had voted david he was assuming just David and Marcus were up by the logic Vicky explained.

The point is he was going up against Marcus who he knows has survived nominations and to him, very liked on the outside. And the point your making only would have value if he HAD voted for David surely?

This is a well thought out and organised post. Short and sweet. It's a shame you weren't in the house for 5 minutes to tell them this.

Lisa, David, and Charlie were always gonna vote the same way. The real casting vote belonged to Rodrigo. Why did he vote for Siavash? Especially has he and Sophie have been really close to him. Charlie is a bad influence I believe. I think he is just using folk. He had no need to bring up Siavash's girlfriend during the arguement. It had nothing to do with the topic. He was just trying to throw more dirt in Siavash's face to make himself look better.

I am a big fan of Rodrigo, but I'm afraid to say he has really disappointed me the last two days.

I think Siavash just got the numbers wrong. He believed (as I did) that Rodrigo wouldn't vote for him. He clearly didn't want to go up in a 1 x 1 against Marcus but was prepared for a 3 way with Marcus and David because he believed David would go which he almost certainly would.

Siavash has shot himself in the foot and must be regretting it tonight. I bet Lisa and David go to bed with a smile on their faces.

I'm a Rodrigo fan and I can't in all honesty say I'm disappointed in him. He's acted true to form - obeying the rules seems to be extremely important to him and I think he personally is disappointed in Siavash because he put Sophie in the firing line. I don't think Rodrigo was influenced by Charlie. His gripe with Siavash was different from Charlies.

If indeed he wants David to go... surely he would have voted david and marcus...seeing as the HMs all think marcus is unbeatable at the minute...

Based on the nominations he believed happened though, there is NO way that he would of been up against marcus in a 1v1

I really don't care anymore. Letting housemates talk about nominations was the beginning of the end. It was obvious that every nominations day would degenerate into a squabbling match. It is not even entertaining to watch.

Whatever Siavash's intentions, he is manipulating the nominations to his own end. This must surely be a reason to kick him out!

BB is now utterly dead and lost all credibility. RIP Endemol.

That's an interesting thought. I think David understands the game well and sometimes wonder if he's as thick as he sometimes tries to have us believe.

not quite, you were trying to say Siavash wasnt scared of going against Marcus head to head but the fact is he thought Dave would be up which is why he refused to nom.Hes scared of going up or he is desperate to win,you decide.

How was he? he knew
Lias Charlie david would vote him and Marcus,
Sophie was voting Marcus and David
Rodrigo was voting Marcus and David (so Sopie told him) Marcus voted Sophie and David....
equaled 5 for Marcus, 3 for david 3 for him. If he had voted for David that would have meant David had 4 therefore Marcus and David would be up, what he didnt know whas tha Rodrigo voted for him and Marcus, so he was up anyway, his nomination wouldnt have changed anything,

I know what you mean about not caring anymore this series as been crap
Allowing noms talk was ok at first it was something we hadn,t seen before (which as been rare this series) but should have only lasted a day or so, then it should have been stopped
It would have messed with their heads more trying to second guess everyone

I still think he assumed too much and instead of making sure by nominating david he assumed rod would vote for david which he didnt
Siavash wanted to save his own a$$ by having david up, but now he has messed up big time for his arrogance and assumptions

You all are missing the point if he wanted to go up why did he not just ask to be put up no he wanted to go up against David because he knew he would sail into the final

But I don't think he could be convinced of David going up especially when you look at who's voting in the house. My bet is he realised it was close so he wanted to continue he martyr act and on his dull non voting tactic in the hope that it would win him votes outside. Divulging it to Rodrigo was more of the same thing..... looking for the airtime and the sympathy of the audience.
