Only seen clips - but feel that he should not have been pressured into talking about the loss of his child (if indeed he was) - so distasteful. Fine if him and his wife wanted to (it was moving) - but if pressurised to make him more likeable to the public - epitome of bad taste.

Yeah I watched clips too.. Him going on the Piers Morgan show was a good thing to gain him more popularity but he is not doing a good job as PM but anyone taking the roll as PM is going to be bloody hard!

So would you say tht him appearing on this show will make him more popular?

I think the idea was for him to do this to make him popular but I think it failed badly. It was not a great interview.

He would have been better going on Paul O'Grady show or say Johnathon Ross!!

Another joke at Britain's expense

Yeah I suppose but him talking about the loss of his baby girl Jennifer was a bit touching. Anyway as PM he is falling on his arse. David Cameron will be PM by this time next year.

Do you have ANY faith in any PM's though? As a member of the public I just go with the flow.. yeah I will probably vote but there is not much I can do. People getting themselves into Politics is a really hard job running our country.

I just feel that with all the things that come to light about politians (from all parties) none of them can be trusted! I think they all have their own personal agendas (successful careers etc) as opposed to the best interests of the country!

I think politics attracts certain types - that will never change!

Yeah true.. but what can we do about it as the public? reunite as one.. and bulldoze the politicans down? Also the UK's population is increasing so there will be lack of resources and iminities.

The world should join as one really.. not a country just supporting themselves.

The age-old question - what do we do about it? I don't think there is a lot we can do about it - things are not likely to change! Maybe we need more parties to choose between - though not sure that will make any difference either! Human beings (on the whole) are innately greedy and self-serving - can't change that! Paints rather a bleak picture - doesn't it?

That statement is bang on bang on indeed......None can be trusted. The type of people politics attracts are born control freaks and con men not discounting the religious who always want the pulse of control and influence......

Our first past the post so called democratic system is as corrupt as can be.........

No matter what party wins technically they always have less than 50% of the public vote yet still claim the right to govern and claim they have a public mandate to enforce their country wrecking policies.......

Best policy until our corrupt political crooks agree to a fair voting system then just DO NOT VOTE AT ALL.........

It even made the news in France. I can see why he did it but it's not something to use to get votes from the public. It's lame.
