![]() The Poet Laureate is to pen "something special" to mark Coronation Street's golden anniversary. Carol Ann Duffy - the first woman to hold the ancient office since it was established in medieval times - joined Corrie creator Tony Warren on a tour of the set in Manchester on Friday afternoon, 32 years after Sir John Betjeman did the same.
