How is it that Sunshine has said she is at medical school but that her GCSE grades were QUOTE - "rubbish", when she was talking to Govan. She also said that her Mum died when she was 17 and telephoned med school to get her, which means Sunshine is saying she went into med school no later than 18 - BUT, how is she then saying at 24 she hasn't done her final year (as she is currently taking a year out, and doing her final year in 2011) Med school doesn't last that long, even with a year out!
I have two friends who got into med school, it is the most competitive place there is, you DON'T GET IN WITH RUBBISH GRADES AND A PHONE CALL FROM YOUR MUM - even if she is dying. And anyway, with 'rubbish' grades Sunshine just wouldn't hack it at Med school, what were her A levels like then??? If she can't do GCSEs well!!!!! Another thing, no serious med student takes a year out from med school - it just doesn't happen!!!! (Cue all the Sunshine fans swearing they know loads of people who have -blah blah) And Sunshine also says that her Mum dying inspired her to go to med school, why? Doctors don't cure cancer. Why not be a research scientist if that is way she felt? Being a doctor won't do any good in that department. And how come her mother's death inspired her to become a doctor but it was her mother's phone call (or cash donation?) that got her into med school. None of what Sunshine says about med school makes sense, and it was pretty nasty of her to screw over her dad for a car (lying about her car to get a new one for Uni) while he was suffering the grief of losing his wife to cancer. Which med school is she at anyway? |

Hmmm interesting points. It seemed she was trying to milk her sob story even more to me as well. Going for the cancer vote.

Look, Sunshine played the deceased mother card so anyone can comment on it. One of them was going to play the "my mother...blah blah" card, and she had to up on last years 'mum in coma' card. Med school does not take 7-8 years! Sunshine is full of it. |

It's low that she played it. Everybody who watches BB knows that kind of thing stinks with viewers.
Sunshine never misses an opportunity to remind everyone of her mother dying. Btw, it is SEVEN YEARS since her mother died. People lose people they love, using to get sympathy on TV is low. |

But rarely does a teenager who loses their parent get over it in seven years. It is the single most important thing that has shaped her life and who she is, and for you to say she is playing some type of "card" simply for her benefit is cruel. My cousin lost her mom at that age, to cancer, and its an ongoing battle for her to deal with it still to this day, years after the fact, and I can't imagine Sunshine would be much different. |

She played no card, it was just brought up. Im not keen on sob stories myself because they influence votes however that was what Charlie did last year on every possible occasion.

Also, how is Sunshine so keen on medicine BUT she wants to go into politics? That She wants to be a Tory Prime minister one day!!!!
How will politics help her mother who died? Or does a 'medical degree' story just fit into her lies for sympathy at the moment. |

Will have to see if she brings it up all the time if she stays, if so. But I do believe she wasnt trying to play some 'card' and was just explaining those situations.

Wow, what a coincidence she was wearing all that 'meaningful' jewellery in the house for her to casually mention all the time. LOL.

And I notice in your defence of Sunshine you have failed to answer about the rubbish exam grades Sunshine admits she got. NO ONE gets into med school with rubbish grades. Not even your supposed sister. LOL. |

Dont quote me 100% on this as i am not completly sure (bearing in mind I would have been about 12). She did totally cock up her GCSE's whilst she was at Prince William school in Oundle. She managed to get a scholarship at a school in Peterborough (Kings School) which allows higher achieving students but also some are enrolled due to church, and scolarships are avaliabe. She managed to get a scholarship thanks to her mum (I think it was for playing a musical instument at a high level) and got 13 GCSEs graded A* and 1 GCSE at Grade A alongside taking A-Levels at the same time, in which she got 5 grade A's. She then went on to study medicine at Demontford(sp?) Uni (DMU) in Leicester where she has done 5 out of 6 years. At the end of last year she took a year out to take a booster degree lasting one year in medical journalism. She will be returning to DMU in september time to finish the final year of her medical degree.

However, there are some facts that mean your speculation is wrong. The University you refer to is De Monfort University in Leicester and they DON'T TEACH MEDICINE. Sunshine said she is studying to BE A DOCTOR, you can't be a qualified doctor with a 'medical science' degree. The 'medical science' degree that De Montford offer is only for health professions who want to know more about medical related biology etc. it is NOT A QUALIFICATION IN MEDICINE TO BE A DOCTOR. And that Medical 'science' degree that De Monfort offer is THREE YEARS, OR MAX FOUR YEARS AS A SANDWICH DEGREE. Sunshine's story just falls apart the more you look at it. |

I noticed this too ,she was flitting from being a thicko to being medical student ,I do not know, but I am certain you would need great A`s to get in ,and as you say ,no way did her mother ring and get her in
