I don't think Shabby had any reason to nominate Ife, they didn't have any arguments, problems or even any awkwardness like Ben and Sunshine had.

So it would have been completely out of the blue and I wouldn't fault Ife fans for getting upset.

Plus I got the impression in the first week that Shabby and Ife were miles closer than Ben and Sunshine were.

Ife and Shabby didn't clash at all in the first week though, she and Shabby and Caoimhe were stuck together pretty much from the get go.

Ben and SS fell out a lot, and being someone (Ben) who doesn't like/deal well with confrontation/arguments then that could well be why he nommed her even though they did have times when they got along too. He did nom Shabby too.

this may be true, but he told her repeatedly they were friends and that he was to be trusted.

if he hated her so much why do that? Or say ''I'm gong to nominate someone whom I consider a close friend of mine'' in the DR before noms?

What people are forgetting here is that Ben and SS stuck together also at that time, though ofc he was a lot worse friend to SS in general then Shabby was to Ife.

The issue here is why they failed a task and no one questioned the people who'd failed it and instead turned the attention onto an "innocent" HM. I don't know if in your hypothetical situation Shabby was also an innocent HM?

Incidently i think you are correct in assuming less people like Shabby but then i'm making an assumption and quite frankly i've no idea.

I do think the reaction would have been different. But then I also think she would have handled JJ turning it around onto her better than ben will because he lets people speak when he should have said "wtf you turning this round onto me for?".

If Shabby had had a fall out with Ife just before noms then she may well have put Ife up.... thats what happened with Ben.Now he has a good relationship with Sunshine and obviously regrets it... IF Dave had told Ife that Shabby had voted for her in the first week Shabby would have gone mad at Dave for telling her and would question his motives... NO-ONE put Shabby on the spot and questioned her motives for telling JJ about Ben nominating Sunshine...
