Shayne - if youre not the one sang it really well last time not sure bout him singing when a child is born and also not sure bout somewhere over the rainbow.
Andy - Me & Mrs Jones sang that really well think he will sing it really well again, Holy night think he will do that well and when a man loves a woman great song choice for him Journey South - Let it be i thought that was there strongest performance to date and i think they will do it great again, Happy Xmas, War Is Over another good song choice for them think they will do it well and Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me i dont no the song but they will probably do it well |

If you're not the one I hate this song. But Shayne did perform it well, so it's the best choice for him. When A Child Is Born Somewhere Over the Rainbow I really can't see either of these songs 'working' for Shayne somehow. Maybe he will be absolutely brilliant, but I can't see it myself. Andy Holy Night Do you mean Silent Night? If so, I have a feeling that this will be very cheesy. When A Man Loves A Woman Going on Andy's earlier performances, he should do a good version of this - but it's just more of the same old, same old. Me & Mrs Jones Good choice out of his previous songs - this was one of his strongest performances. I cannot see him winning the competition though - not in a month of Sundays. Journey South Happy Xmas, War Is Over Let It Be Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me I think all of these are really good choices for Journey South. I have a feeling they will be the best performers on Saturday night - doesn't mean they will necessarily win of course, but I hope they do. Thanks for the info bb4eva ![]() |

Shayne :
If you're not the one-It's the best he's done this series When A Child Is Born-Bit too choirboy for me, if he was going to sing a x-mas song it had to be Wham-Last Christmas. Somewhere Over the Rainbow-What on earth?! Is Louis trying to mess this up for him? Andy : Holy Night-Great choice for Andy. When A Man Loves A Woman-Another good choice for Andy. Me & Mrs Jones-It was his best. Journey South : Happy Xmas, War Is Over-Not too sure about this choice but they may pull it off. Let It Be-They did a very good version. Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me-Good song choice, I have been expecting them to sing this. On song choices I think Louis may have messed up Shayne's chance and JS may sneak in for the win. |

I think Journey South are going to sneak in and win it - could be wishful thinking though!

Jolly good

Yeah I think JS might sneak it too, especially with Shayne's song choices.
![]() If Journey South or Andy win they're going to have a problem because the powers that be have already said they will be signing up, and promoting, Shayne. A bit like last year where Steve Brookstein and G4 were both competing for record sales. |

It would've been better if they were all performing at least one up-tempo song each. Shayne has, as others have said, been given two very strange songs. The Johnny Mathis number is really an old man's song. Louis obviously thinks that the best course of action is to drown everything in syrup. I feel a little sorry for Andy, as there's really not much point in him turning up at all. Shayne is still ahead as far as the bookies are concerned, even after the announcement of the song choices. But he's going to get a record contract regardless, and coming second would probably be better for him in the long run, as he'd have more bargaining power.

True - there's no way on earth that Andy's going to win. And whether Shayne wins or not, he will still get a record deal. I honestly think Journey South can do it - but to be honest, both Shayne and Journey South have done enough to get a record deal whatever happens.
