Default Sharing the prize money

What right has he to put people on the spot like that. Talking about whoever wins sharing the prize money with Steve. Now if anybody declines they may perceive that the public think they are nasty and will vote against them. BB is a game show where the public will decide the winner and if Steve should win then good on him, but if not then he should not be given part of the winners pot.

In any case Endemol could easily buy him the latest prosthetic limbs that he needs!

I never liked Dave, he always creeped me out. If this is true, then I can add it to my long, long list of reasons why I don't like him.

Neither have I. That laughing he did on the way into the house was very strange.

Dave saying that he's lay his hands-on Steve and ask the Lord to grow him new legs, is the other Dave bit I find unforgivable.

That was objectionable to me, even if Steve felt able to let it go. This new one seems also to treat Steve as purely a figure of sympathy than a real person

You are far more patronising by implying that Steve cannot think for himself.

PS, learn to write in English please.

It used to be an enforced BB rule in early series that talking about what you'd do with the money was a fundamental rule break punishable by formal warning (ultimately ejection if carried -on)

They brought this rule to the fore a bit after BB1 Winner Craig had often mentioned he'd give the money to his Downs Syndrome relative and people raised the issue that this could be construed as a tactic to win votes in the final.

That rule got forgotten along the way.

To curry favour with the viewing public is the ONLY reason he would have said that!

Yeah it was a rule of sorts however Craig never mentioned who he would give the prize money to until he actually had won.

I maybe have too many holes-in-the-brain Terry from infected mad-cow pies, so I'll take your word. My recollection was that he told the house (and ergo us) many times he'd give the prize money to a disabled relative so she could go to America for some theraputic treatment which was thought might help her condition.

So if someone has a good motive they are automatically trying to curry favour with the viewing public?

Paranoid much?

1. Fundamental rule-break........just not being enforced lately.

2. Extremely patronising - why not boost Steve's confidence by telling him he's win the show on merit by being a nice guy? Treating him as someone to be pitied and thefefore should be the subject of their charity is just wrong.

Yer pal had turned me round a bit, especially by digging the house out of Ben's hole yesterday, but his faux pas always drag me back to where I was.

I agree that the winner shouldn't have to donate money to help Steve get new things for his legs with their earnings, it's their cash however if they choose to do it then I would say fair play.

I respect Steve in the fact that he has his disability but hates to be patronised and will ask for help when he needs it whilst also not needing pity!.

Im sure Steve gets his legs paid for anyway. He's probably got a vast collection for all occasions.
