I would love it if on a Friday once the weekly eviction has been done, Davina then opens the lines of the remaining housemates for us to vote whom we want to nominate for eviction.

The normal nomination and save + replace process should be carried out so that the housemates suspect nothing abnormal is happening, however on the Friday the 2/3 housemates with the most votes from the public are called to the DR. Big Brother then reveals to them that the nominations are false and that the public have been voting who they want to nominate for the housemates to evict, and it is them - the others watching on screen.

The screen then goes off, so that the nominees cant influence the votes, and are played the sound from the living room of the housemates discussing who they want to leave (those who stay will know who wanted them out which could cause friction) - the majority vote wins, the nominees are allowed to exit the DR and cue Davina talking to the house to announce which one of them has been evicted (they would already know, but Davina could sound apologetic and be like, your housemates have been voting rather than us).

Sorry but they did this the first week of Big Brother three in 2002. The nominees were Lynn and Jade

Oh right! I only saw the last few weeks of BB3, and was young then so didnt really get it, no reason why they cant do it again though?

i had a similar idea, the public should vote out of all housemates who they want to save, the 2/3 with the least votes to save are announnced as nominated housemates by their fellow housemates, housemates would still nominate , but the most nom from housemates would get messed around by bigbrother, pranks and stuff , ,

once the 2/3 with least votes from the public to stay are announced on tuesday , then the phone lines for the other housemates close and people continue to vote to save out of the 2/3 , or they could change the vote to evict out of those three

can you imagine how paranoid housemates would be with the likes of ife, steve, nathan, being nominated by what they think is from their fellow housemates, and big characters like shabby, ben and sunshine not being nominated !

I love it! That would really mess with their heads as they would be shocked with those up, and they shouldnt be told after either, only the evicted housemate should find out, so they think nobody is safe!

Edit: Urm fair enough then Sticks, it was used 8 years ago though and many of the younger watches wont even realise it had been used before.. I didnt.

Except that it has been done, and they would be accused of running out of ideas more than they usually are.
