Default TIBB Big Brother Awards Categories

Basically I want to put forward my ideas for categories I'm gonna' include. I'd appreciate some feedback on which you think are good ideas and which not so much.

- Favourite housemate of each individual series (Fave BB1 housemate, fave BB2 housemate, fave BB3 housemate etc).

- Favourite BB housemate ever (This will be built up of the top 2 or 3 of each individual series)

- Favourite BB diary room chair

- Favourite BB house

- Favourite BB house exterior catwalk

- Favourite BB eye design

- Favourite new BB housemate

- Favourite BB winner

- Favourite Big Brother series

Oh and if anyone knows where I can get pictures of all the BB house layouts and stuff that'd be great so I could post them with the polls.

Coolio. Thanks.

Well I've all ready posted the first 3 polls (fave BB1, fave BB2 and fave BB3) so I'd really appreciated it if you contributed to them if you haven't all ready.

I don't suppose you know anywhere I can get pictures of the old BB houses or anything like that?

Very good idea Alpertinator.

Think you should add a few more like... cringiest, funniest and best moments ever.

Most fake. Most genuine. Most annoying.
Eh, I'll think of others during the day.

Cool. Hope you don't mind that I'm gonna' be bumping active polls each day... if they're not getting good results at least.

Anyway, something else crossed my mind. The maximum amount of options you can have in a TIBB poll is 15. Thing is all the BBs' after BB5 had more than 15 housemates. What do I do about that? I don't think I can halve the polls really... I'm pretty stumped.

Just get people to post their favorite - create a list at the top, so they're reminded who they're choosing from. Good luck with it, it's looking good so far.

Hmmm... maybe. Well like my idea for how to do BB6... I'd only have to remove one as there was 16 housemates in BB6.

There are two housemates who I think I could remove from the poll. Firstly Mary, as she was the first to go. The other person is Kinga, as she was in the secret garden granted, but then she wasn't chosen and just made the surprise return at the final. And of course she was only in the final because she was initially turned down. Maybe I should do a poll of who I should leave out, out of them two?

Nah, that would cause rows. Like in BB9, people could vote for you not to have Rachel, even though she is very much liked, but merely because some people dislike them. It would be fairest to just have all the housemates as options. However, it's your game, so run it as you wish

If anyone knows where to find the BB10 archive (it's not part of BB's microsites archive), that would be helpful.

Oh thanks for the link.

And Raph, the problem is though, that you can have no more than 15 options in a poll, and of course all BBs' post BB5 had over 15 housemates. Therefore I can't include all housemates in my polls of BB6 onwards.

There is a way to get around that, although it may complicate thing. Post the housemate polls as a sort of tournament, with a round 1 and 2 for each half of the group of housemates and then work your way down to quarter finals, semis, etc.

Oh man, you got it goin' on. Nice one.

I'm also unsure about how I'll pick the 15 housemates that will be up for best housemate ever. One idea is to pick say the top two from each BB (and in doing so I'll have to do that in rounds as well, like you suggested). The other idea is to pick the 15 housemates that have the most votes. That could leave some BBs' without a housemate in the best housemate ever category though... so... I dunno'. Dilemma.

I think I would do just one final poll with the eleven winners of each respective poll.

You could choose to do an all-round semi-final and then a final, but then picking a winner for each series in the first place might make less sense.

Well I have to pick a winner for each individual series as each of them will be a category.

But I think I will pick the top two from each series to go into the final one... which granted will make 22 housemates, but I will use you idea again - do it in rounds.

Hey... is there anyway to stop people from seeing the results? That'd be much better then when I reveal the results of the awards people would actually not know the winner of each one.
